A well equipped Tartan 37 Blue Water Yacht
Tartan built the 37 "Swing Keel/Centerboard" line of boats from 1976 thru 1989.  It is a very popular well designed boat, easy to sail, with an unique elongated stern profile; 486 were built, Nemea is hull 162.  The Tartan 37 has a well deserved reputation as very sturdy, well built and very seaworthy "blue water' boat.  Nemea is a  very well equipped, well cared for and seaworthy (Blue Water) example of the Tartan 37.  She has a spacious warm interior.  The wood panels and fixtures are in good condition, the cushions are in very good condition, and the sleeping cushions are new "memory foam".  The Tartan "swing keel" centerboard design enables Nemea to navigate shoal areas such as the ICW and Bahamas, yet with the centerboard down, she performs as a stable, seaworthy blue water yacht.  Nemea has recently undergone a significant refit, making her well equipped and immediately ready to 'live aboard", and/or to cruise the open ocean, the Caribbean or where ever one yearns to sail.
