Shampagne is a true blue water cruiser having crossed the Atlantic three times. Launched in South Africa as Jamaican Breeze in 1994 she was sailed to the Caribbean. Later she sailed to England where she had a documented home port of Guernsey. From there back to South Africa and again back to Florida where she was later purchased in 2001 and renamed her Sunspot Baby. made seven cruises approximately six months each to the Bahamas as well as sailing inland waters in the Carolina's and the Chesapeake. The Current owner bought her in 2013 and has sailed her to Grenada and back in one season, Single-Handed to the BVI and back this past winter and three trips to the Bahama's. Needless to say this is a true bluewater boat and is ready to continue cruising to world.

 The galley was redone with all new appliances, instruments have been upgraded, a water maker was installed, and the Skymate system was added. The single sideband was replaced with what has become the industry standard ICOM 802 as well as many other upgrades. The engines were completely rebuilt about 2500 hundred hours ago and the saildrive were rebuilt two years ago. A strong track has been added to the mast to make raising and lowering the main sail a breeze. A Raymarine C120 chart plotter with AIS is at the helm.
