The Chris-Craft 328 Express Cruiser is a contemporary mid-cabin family cruiser that incorporates several nice design touches into a contemporary package.

The 328 is constructed on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a wide beam. Below, the mid-cabin floor plan is very spacious for a boat this size. The layout offers double berths fore and aft, a small galley and a head with shower.

The anchor arrangement is pretty slick—a concealed windlass lowers the self-stowing anchor through an opening beneath the bow.

Additional features include a walk-through windshield, an electric engine compartment hatch, and transom door.

The upgraded twin Volvo Penta 5.7L I/Os cruise at 22 knots (mid 30s top).
