This 1998 Mako 231 Center Console, located in Stratford, CT, was repowered in 2010 with a 250 hp Evinrude E-TEC that is still under warranty.

The Mako 231 has a great reputation for solid, tough build and the ability to handle offshore chop. This is a great fishing or family boat with a huge cockpit, high windshield, T-top, and plenty of dry storage.

Fishermen will appreciate the two lift-out fish boxes, gunwale rod storage, 8 rod holders and large, stable platform.

For the family, there's ample seating forward and with a concealed porta-potti under the spray hood. Add a couple of comfy folding deck chairs aft and you can accomodate a small crowd. The fish boxes make great coolers for drinks The 231 is known for its stable, dry ride so the spray hood may get much of its use as a shady refuge from the sun or rain. There's a small swim platform with a step and a stereo to keep all entertained.

This is a nice, solid repowered classic Mako that is definitely worth a look at this price.
