With regards to powerboats, Hinckley is well known for their picnic boats. Though much much more recent than the Sou’Wester line, the picnic boat expresses the spirit of Hinckley design. A style fashioned by Hinckley Yachts, the picnic boat enjoys the performance, effortlessness of use, and low maintenance. The picnic boat, originally designed and constructed with jet propulsion, paved the way for the design and implementation of the JetStick.

The most identifiable line of Hinckley Yachts is the Bermuda 40. The B40 was introduce in 1959 and went on the books as Hinckley Yachts first fiberglass boat. The final B40 was constructed in 1991; this ended its 40 years of manufacture with the 203rd interpretation of this trend-setting yacht. Another design originated by Hinckley Yachts the Sou’Wester line of boats. First example was built in 1945 making the Sou’Wester the cog of Hinckley Yachts sailboat design for over half of a century.
