Feadship Yachts: Since it's beginning in 1949, Feadship Yachts has earned a solid reputation as a global leader in the construction of high quality displacement motoryachts. Feadship is the name which the motoryachts are marketed under. The company is actually comprised of two independent Dutch shipyards, the De Vries yard and the Van Lent yard.

De Vries Scheepsbouw was founded in 1923 and is located near the center of Aalsmeer. In the beginning the yard used only wood for construction, however they rapidly expanded into using steel and aluminum materials to build their sail and motoryachts. Today they build Feadship Yachts with the help of their dedicated workforce which has expanded to 250 highly skilled craftsmen. Their resources enable them to build and launch two motorcycachts per year.

Royal Van Lent Shipyard was founded in 1849 and is located on Kaag Island. They too began their yacht building legacy constructing motor and sailing yachts out of wood. Today they have evolved to become an integral part of the Feadship legacy.

De Voogt Naval Architects, one of the original founders of Feadship, was established in 1912.  Today 58 full time staff members and several freelance specialists enable the company to cover every aspect of yacht engineering and design. Naval architecture, mechanical engineering and interior design are all handled by this company and it's talented and experienced work force. The close relationship between De Voogt and the shipyards ensures a full understanding of the construction techniques used by the builders as well as unwavering attention to the highest quality in design, engineering and construction.
