Glasstream Boats Information
Glasstream Boats has been manufacturing fishing and pleasure boats for over 25 years. Founded by A.L. Kirkland, Glasstream currently resides in Panama City, Florida in a 25,000 square foot facility where they manufacture a line of fishing and pleasure boats ranging from 17 to 36 feet. Each model in production is a new design that incorporates over two decades of research and development. Glasstream’s products are a result of attention to detail and the demands of experienced boaters who want it all. All of Glasstream's designs offer performance, style, great value and uncompromising quality.
The hull design originates from the 1988 race boat “Turn of the Century” which won the APBA Divisional Championship in Key West. The original v-bottom design was developed as a racing prototype and was the first of it's kind to be built. Back in the day, the new prototype technology was considered radical but today it has become the design standard offering improved handling and performance, reduced drag and greater lift which all come together to provide an extremely fast, soft, dry ride.
The quality in every Glasstream's construction is obvious upon first glance and even more evident after a hard look. Everything on and in the boat from the upholstery to the rub rail is made from non-deteriorating, non-wood materials. The deck and hull are glassed together, the stringer system is a molded, foam-filled, fiberglass grid and all the wiring is encased in tin with heat shrunk terminals and breakers that are specific for each accessory.
Glasstream's commitment to continued technological advancement and design improvement is an assurance that when you own a Glasstream, you own the best. If their word isn't enough, they back it with a 10 year hull warranty - that's confidence in black and white.
