Power Boat GuidePower Boat Guide had this to say:
Knowledgeable boaters know that Crownline builds a lot of boat for the money. The 340 CR meets that description well. No lightweight, she rides on a solid fiberglass modified-V hull with moderate beam and a sporty reverse transom. Unlike most boats in her class, a fiberglass hardtop is standard-an expensive extra not always available with some competitive models.
Guests will enjoy the sun on the patio-sized aft cockpit or on the convertible aft bench at the transom. Below, the spacious (and well appointed) interior features a convertible settee to starboard, full-service galley with cherry cabinets to port, enclosed head with wall-mounted shower, and a centerline queen berth forward with privacy curtain. A 26" flat screen TV is built into the aft salon bulkhead, and a large U-Shaped lounge in the mid-cabin area converts into an adult-size double berth. Note the solid hardwood flooring throughout the cabin.
Topside features include a deluxe cockpit wet bar with refrigerator, standard anchor windlass, and a transom storage locker. The Teak inlaid swim platform is a nice touch. Cruise at 24-26 knots with Mercruiser 300hp Stern Drives.
Vessel WalkthroughThe oversized integrated swim platform provides ample space for a crowd, large enough for swimming/diving by utilizing the fold-able swim/boarding ladder. Ample storage in the transom locker for lines and fenders or water toys. equipped with Freshwater shower, located aft for rinsing off after a swim.
The transom door provides access to the spacious cockpit. The Cockpit is tastefully appointed with a functional wet bar and refrigerator to port and wrap around cockpit lounge with remove-able tables to starboard and aft. To port in front of the wet bar is a companion or copilot lounge. The Helm boasts an oversized adjustable helm seat. The helm is strategically spaced with all controls including, engine management system, Navigation, depth, instruments, switches and gauges all within reach of the captains view and fingertips. Digital Throttle and shifter controls, wood dash and wood wheel finish out the helm station nicely.
Foredeck is easily accessed by molded steps and walk-through windshield and features a stainless steel bow rail, anchor, and windlass.
Below boasts a spacious open salon with forward V-Berth with privacy curtains and hanging locker. There's a port side galley with cherry cabinets, Corian countertop with stainless steel sink, built-in microwave oven, electric cook top, and under-counter refrigerator. Along the starboard side of the salon is a convertible dinette that seats 4-5 and sleeps 1-2 depending on age and size. The mid-cabin has a U-Shaped lounge that coverts to a double berth and has a hanging locker. An enclosed head compartment includes vanity with sink and shower.
