The Bilgin Shipyard is a rare family Yacht building Shipyard in Istanbul, four generations of successful boat building in the Bilgin family is the honor for the fifth generation for building the luxury Super Yachts which means since over 75 years of professionally yacht building experience. The Bilgin Shipyard has launched only in the last 45 years over 50 Motor Yachts with success and the reason of having good relation to customers is because of our goal in this Marine Business. The Bilgin Shipyard is building every type of luxury and standard Motor Yachts in Steel/Aluminum and Wood Composite/Cold Molded Construction with customized interior & exterior lines upon customers request, ideas & wishes, up to 80m together with our goal and working principals.
The Bilgin Shipyard is producing all kind of Stainless Steel accessories and equipment from external doors to cranes, from rope leads to deck railings and all kinds of hydraulic passerelles and hydraulic systems. Electrical Equipment
The yacht’s main power supply shall be a 240/380 Volt, 50 Hertz three-phase four-wire system with ground, based on a split-bus distribution circuit.
Power shall be supplied by two generators capable of running in full parallel, with power management system and one shore power cables working through a power management system, rated at 50 Kw and acting as a frequency converter and galvanic isolator.
The electrical power supplies on board are based on:
- Two generators rated at, 240/380 VAC, 50 Hz; Capacity to be as per calculations
- One shore power rated at 65Kw 220/380/400 +/-10% VAC;
- 24 VDC battery banks- approx 1200 A;
- 24 to 12 VDC converters for each individual 12 volt consumer, when necessary.

Life saving appliances to be as per SOLAS and Class as a minimum, for the highest category cruising.
Central alarm systems for systems control will be fitted as specified.
Two life rafts to be supplied by Shipyard per Class and SOLAS regulations for a yacht of this size.
Four ring buoys stored in recesses with yacht identification as required by SOLAS.
Anchor & Mooring System
Two anchors will be self-stowing and self-launching, located on the forward end of the main deck above the anchor locker.
Anchor winches shall meet the speed and pull strength requirements of the Classification Society.
Both anchors shall be identical and meet Class weight requirements for the primary anchor.
Windlasses to be remote controlled from the wheelhouse and have a long enough cord for fore deck control.
The wandering lead shall be permanently wired to a terminal strip in a watertight junction box, which shall be installed out of sight.
Provisions shall be provided for unobtrusive secure stowage of the control box and its cable when not being used.
Stainless steel recessed plates with stainless steel protection strips, shall be fitted on either side of the bow projecting down to the water line to allow each anchor to be set and weighed without damage to the yacht paint work.
