Vessel Walk Thru
Accommodations for up to ten in a four stateroom layout, (each stateroom with double berths) galley up, two head layout with the salon settee made down into a generous double. The interior is finished white with synthetic teak and holly soles throughout. Extensive 12 volt lighting, mostly dome style. Headroom is 6'-6" aft upon entering but decreases going forward. The port and starboard accommodation space is 6'-1 to 6'-2". There is plenty of ventilation given the large hatches and large sliding door and window in the Salon.
The Port AND Starboard staterooms are mirror image with 6'-6" X 5'-0" berths forward with storage in cubbies and a hanging locker and a second locker further aft (on the port side this houses a 2nd freezer unit). This is followed by an enclosed head with ensuite shower draining to a separate sump, manual Jabsco W.C. plumbed via a Y valve to the holding tank, and molded in vanity with sink and storage.
Further aft is the four step ladder to the salon inboard and outboard a three shelf book rack. Last aft is the aft stateroom(s) with a 6'-2" berth which is a width of 4'-6" and again storage in cubblies.
Up four steps to the Salon with a generous curved settee with storage under and drop leaf pedestal table. A navigation station is to starboard.
To port is the L-shaped galley with a very substantial ice box fitted with Adler Barber 12 volt refrigeration and a small freezer compartment. A double basin sink, and Force 10, three burner gimballed propane stove with oven. There is adequate storage for galley ware and food stuffs. Additional freezer space is in the separate Engel 12 volt freezer box starboard side.
The wide slider and pass through window make the cockpit part of the salon or vice versa with tons of seating at an L-shaped settee to port and straight settee to starboard. Two large storage lockers are under. Molded in steps allow easy access up onto the hulls to go fore and aft. Forward mast there are huge sail/gear lockers and additional storage is in lockers that also house the anchor windlass and fuel tanks at the forward end of the cabin.

Manufacturer Provided DescriptionCatana enjoys the reputation as the builder of the fastest production luxury catamarans. Design features unique to Catana are: - Asymmetrical hulls, which help prevent hobby horsing and aids in preventing the leeward hull from being buried in a wave when sailing to windward at high speeds. In addition, all weight is concentrated toward the center of the hulls making sure weight is kept to a minimum forward of the mast. - Dagger boards, which offer very shallow sailing with boards up and closer windward sailing angles with boards down. In addition, there is an extra margin of safety when sailing in heavy wind-sea conditions due to the ability to raise the dagger boards and "slide" off the face of extremely high waves. Each Catana is constructed using vacuum-molded unidirectional roving impregnated with isophthalic resin. Kevlar and carbon fiber are used in high load-stress areas. The entire structure is cored with high-density Divinycell closed cell foam and all bulkheads are vacuum molded and cored with end-grain balsa. Each customer has total input as to the design and finish of their interior. Sailing a catamaran doesn't have to remind you of driving a bus. If you enjoy the thrill of sailing, prefer better all-around performance without sacrificing safety, and demand the highest quality, then you owe it to yourself to closely inspect a Catana catamaran. The Catana 411 was first introduced in 1994. Unique to this model is easy access to the transoms from cockpit level (no more climbing over the cockpit). Dual steering stations are located aft and outboard for excellent visibility and include Whitlock rack & pinion steering system. The galley and navigation station are on the same level as the saloon. Standard layouts include the owner's version with one hull devoted to the owner's suite and the charter version with two staterooms and one head compartment in each hull. Twin inboard diesel engines are located aft of the living quarters with excellent access via cockpit hatches.
