According to the Seller :

As for the history: She was formerly known as the MV Kingcome, famous on the BC Coast for her impressive lines and for towing the most logs up and down the West Coast.

In 2001, Charlotte Queen Adventures Ltd. purchased it and did an extensive custom refit as the lodging for an exclusive fishing resort in the remote area on the West side of Haida Gwaii (formerly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands) on the Northern Coast of British Columbia just South of Ketchikan, Alaska.

After adding an upper deck with 4 additional staterooms, and made a lounge that can accommodate dining for 12 guests. There are a total of 6 staterooms with private bathrooms and showers in each one and a crew quarter for 8 crew members with two bathrooms and showers.

In addition, a laundry room with two washers and dryers.

The Ship would tow our camp barge (already sold) up the coast with the entire fishing fleet, and supplies for the entire summer fishing season. We would fly our guests on a private charter from Vancouver, BC to Sandspit, BC and then transfer them to a Sikorsky 12 passenger helicopter for a 30 min epic ride to the helicopter pad on our camp barge.

Our unforgettable fishing adventures for world class salmon, halibut, and ling cod were all inclusive of incredible surf and turf meals and beverages 7 nights a week.

After a successful 17 years of fishing our hearts out and creating unforgettable memories, we decided to end on a high note.

The custom-built aluminum boats and fishing equipment sold out immediately, then our camp barge and now seeks her third career and is eager for her next working adventure once again soon!
