Century produced some truly outstanding designs during their hey days, and one of those were the Sea Maids. With its torpedo-line deck styling it was one of the best selling models of its time. These runabouts were the predecessor of the very popular Arabians. The Mahogany wood on these attractive boats were finished with the two tone stain (blonde and natural) and very plush interiors for the time. The steering wheel, dashboard and other elements bring Detroit (automotive) styling into the marketplace. An automotive chrome gauge cluster was converted for marine use with a Century signature tachometer in place of the speedometer. Chrysler provided a deluxe 17 inch molded plastic steering wheel.
