Comments:
Las Brisas" is a U.S. Coast Guard Documented, custom Beneteau Oceanis 40CC, hull #55. She was delivered to Lake Superior ( in Northren Wisconsin ), then sailed out of the Great Lakes in 1998 to the Caribbean where she has been used for serious cruising for approximately 6 months of each year. The rest of the time she was stored ashore. She has been extensively modified for comfortable cruising, including factory and custom options. All manuals, wiring diagrams and product information is organized in loose leaf books. Owner is willing to delivery to new location in the Caribbean, East Coast or Great Lakes area.
Forward Cabin Double berth to starboard, storage under, two very large drawers. Large shelf below opening ports with racks for fishing gear. Mattress filled with 7 inches of custom foam. To port is 42" settee with zippered Sunbrella slip covers. Aft is a large hanging locker, shelving on top, with bookshelves and storage lockers on port side. Thermostat for heating system, two reading lights, (in addition to standard lighting) fan, opening hatch with sun & mosquito screens. |
Forward head Forward guest stateroom has large, ensuite head and shower. The head has 24 gallon SS holding tank (custom installation) equipped with Y-valve for deck or overboard pumpout, Tank Watch gauge.Hot & cold pressure water for shower, thermostate operated heating, opening hatch with shade and mosquito screen, two lights and a separate shower sump. |
Main salon Custom Lexan doors provide entry to companionway ladder. Settee and table to starboard, table is raised to allow view from windows. Beautifully varnished Cherry interior (as in rest of vessel), custom foam cushions with yellow and blue Sunbrella zippered slip-covers. Port and starboard windows have Hunter-Douglas white Manhatten adjustable window shades. Bookshelves and two compartments with JVC speakers, 2 hand painted reading lights. Sunbrella cover for oval cherry dinette which has hinged leaf to provide additional seating. Large locker to port with shelves, aft of this is nav-station with large chart table and storage under the seat. Additonal bookshelves and storage underneath the port windows. Two fans, air conditioning and heating ducts (thermostat controlled), two dorades, large opening hatch with sun & mosquito screens.

Deck and Hull Custom designed and installed canvas includes: Green zippered piece connecting hard dodger to bimini. Bimini can fold forward on SS frame. Windows and screens can be zipped in to fully enclose cockpit. White sun awning from mast to aft radar arch, additional piece can be zipped in to cover most of area forward of the mast.
