Another highlight of the 520 Express is its roomy cockpit. It has more than enough space to entertain a large collection of friends. If you are a water person this boat offers one of the best platforms for not just being on the water but in the water. This 520 Express has an oversized hydraulic swim platform to take your favorite pwc or tender anywhere you go, a built-in transom seat (storage beneath) complete with transom speakers (upgraded sound system throughout the boat) that are directed toward the water, allowing for both fun and sun in paradise.

Vessel Walk Through

Stepping aboard “Cherry Pie” from the large hydraulic swim platform into the lower cockpit, you notice that she is designed to accommodate a large group of friends and family. Easily access the cockpit through the transom door to the port. The cockpit features a large U-shaped cushioned settee with storage to the STBD, and a cockpit electric grill made by Force 10, an icemaker made by U-Line, and a brand new unit U-Line refrigerator-freezer combination to the port. This area is surrounded by cockpit speakers so you can enjoy your favourite music. A 32" Insignia flat TV is mounted to the forward STBD side, just behind the captain's chairs, making the area more suitable for entertainment. Moving forward and up 2 steps is the helm. The STBD side has 2 captain’s chairs, navigation controls and electronics for captain’s use. To the port is a big J-shaped lounger to accommodate more voyagers. The helm has great visibility. The hard top cover on this area provides protection for the captain and guests against direct sunlight.

As you move forward from the helm, steps lead down into a roomy salon. Immediately to the STBD is a U-shaped cushioned sofa. The middle of the sofa converts into a bed providing more sleeping arrangements. A dinette sits adjacent to the sofa and features an adjustable table top. The table top can be used as a small accent table or folded out to create a large dining table. This area has both portlights providing natural light and recessed lighting. To the port side is a well-appointed galley. It offers drawers and cabinet storage for glass wares and kitchen utensils. It has a stainless steel sink, top line appliances like Chef's selection white coffee maker, Sharp carousel microwave convection oven, 2-burner Princess gourmet stove, Fisher Paykel dishwasher, and NovaKool refrigerator with freezer. Just above the refrigerator is a media center with Panasonic home theater surround sound system and a 38" Samsung flat TV.

To the aft port corner you will find access to the master stateroom. It offers a full walkaround berth. Both sides have portlights allowing natural light to come in. The STBD side features storage cabinets while the port side features a couch. The washer/dryer unit is situated just beside the couch. The room also has a media center that features a 32" Samsung flat TV and Samsung DVD player. In the forward port corner of the room is a roomy head complete with shower, sink, and ample storage.

Coming back into the salon from the master state room and moving forward to port is the day head. The day head also serves as the guest head. The forward guest stateroom has a queen island berth. Below the berth are drawers for more storage. This room also features a hanging locker and a 15” Sole flat panel TV.

Overall, this 520 Express is a very nice boat and great for accommodating a large group of boaters.
