Buddy Davis has built over two hundred and fifty sportfishermen over the past twenty five years. From the inception of Buddy Davis, the quality and performance of these watercraft have set the standard for sportfishermen everywhere. To experienced fishermen, a previously owned Buddy Davis sportfishermen is highly preferred over a new boat of another builder. 

In the Spring of 2003, through an asset purchase, Dr. Ira Trocki acquired Davis Yachts. Dr. Trocki is a plastic surgeon from southern New Jersey in addition to being a very successful businessman. Along with his ownership of hotels in the Atlantic City area, Dr. Trocki owns numerous professional buildings in both New Jersey and Florida, real estate, a transportation company, marina and various other companies.
