Hull and Structure
CONSTRUCTION
The Xc 35 hull is a composite construction, molded using 5-axis-milled female tooling. X-Yacht hulls are built using the latest construction technologies.
The hull is a full polyester resin/sandwich construction using vinylester resin system in outer skin layer, foam core with biaxial E-glass skins and local uni-directional reinforcements.
Solid, monolithic laminate is used in areas around the keel structure, rudder stock bearing, around each through hull fitting, sail drive, and optional thruster.
The hull has a five year warranty against osmosis.
STRUCTURAL BULKHEADS
All structural bulkheads securely bonded to hull and deck. All bulkheads of marine plywood in thicknesses between 16 and 20 mm.
WATERTIGHT BULKHEADS
At the forward end of the boat watertight bulkheads separate the anchor compartment and interior accommodation for safety and reassurance in the event of a collision.
KEEL STRUCTURE
The keel structure consists of a hot galvanized, high strength steel frame which forms an integral part of the hull structure. It is capable of absorbing loads from keel, mast and rig as well as shock loads in the event of grounding. Integrated limber holes to allow water to run to central keel bilge.
The keel structure also has an integrated single point center hoist for easy and safe lifting and launching.
KEEL
The standard keel draft is a 1.90 m (light ship) cast iron fin and L-bulb, with low centre of gravity and comfortable sailing performance.
An optional shallow draft L-bulb keel of 1.60 m (light ship) is also available.
Each keel is encapsulated in layer of GRP and moulded in epoxy resin to designers keel section templates.
The keel is securely bolted to the structural steel keel frame with stainless steel bolts and faired with epoxy filler.
DeckDECK GEAR
TEAK DECK
Vacuum applied teak deck standard on cockpit sole, cockpit seats, cockpit coamings and bathing platform. Optional teak on side decks. Teak is nominally 9 mm thick and is laid using Sikaflex-298 adhesive (or similar) with no visible fixings. Black corking as standard.
WINCHES
2 x HARKEN 46STP Performa, self-tailing primary winches, on coaming.
2 x HARKEN 40STP Performa, self-tailing secondary winches, on coaming.
2 x HARKEN 40STP Performa, self-tailing halyard winches, on coachroof.
CUSTOM STAINLESS STEELWORK
1 x stainless steel bow pulpit with integrated LED navigation lights.
2 x stainless steel stern pushpit with stowage for ready to launch MOB module and integrated LED stern navigation light.
Optional 2 x stainless steel stanchion gates mounted approximately amidships, port & starboard (see pricelist for details).
600 mm stainless steel stanchions and bases with double stainless steel wire guardrails, mounted on bulwark.
Stainless steel stemhead fitting with single roller designed to stow up to a 16 kg delta anchor. Fitting has integrated headstay attachment and tack attachment point for optional asymmetric spinnaker.
Stainless steel mast collar.
Optional 2 x stainless steel hand rails on top of coachroof (see pricelist for details).
Optional 2 x stainless steel grab rails on each helm pedestal (see price list for details).
Hand rails on coach roof (2 pcs).
DECK HARDWARE
4 x mooring cleats mounted fore and aft, including stainless steel protection strip fitted at each cleat.
2 x optional mooring cleats amidships for spring cleats (see pricelist for details)
4 x stainless steel folding padeyes for safety lines and harness mount points in cockpit.
Foot blocks at mast base for halyards.
Deck organisers for halyards and control lines. Lines led back to halyard winches at companionway.
8 x Spinlock XCS Clutches for sheets & halyards ââ?¬â?? or equivalent.
2:1 ââ?¬Ë?Germanââ?¬â?¢ mainsheet system, with main sheets led aft under deck to leave the side decks clean and uncluttered.
1 x optional main sheet traveller track on coach roof replacing standard block system
1 x optional self-tacking jib track on foredeck.
2 x genoa tracks mounted on deck (port & starboard) with plunger stop genoa cars.
Deck fillers for 1 x fuel and 1 x water tank.
Deck outlet for waste from 1 x holding tank.
Standard 10 kg bruce type galvanized anchor with 30 m warp suitable for storage in the anchor locker. An optional 1000W 12V electric anchor windlass (two-way) including 25 m x 8 mm galvanised chain is installed on the deck operated by adjacent wired remote stored in anchor locker or an optional remote panel located at the helm.
The 10 kg bruce anchor is stowed in the stem head fitting.
HATCHES, WINDOWS & PORTLIGHTS
1 x anchor compartment hatch
2 x BSI CF4444 frameless hatches (or equivalent), self-draining ââ?¬â?? on coachroof.
2 x BSI CF2626 frameless hatches (or equivalent), self-draining on coachroof, near companionway
1 x companionway sliding hatch in 12 mm white Plexiglas, housed in a self-draining garage.
Wash board system in 12 mm smoked Plexiglas (pcs).
6 x opening portlights on coachroof sides, chrome-polished, aluminium framed, for maximum ventilation and light.
1 x opening portlight in cockpit, chrome-polished, aluminium framed, provide additional ventilation into the port aft cabin.
1 x large cockpit locker hatch built into starboard cockpit bench seat.
2 x lazarette locker hatches built into helm seats.
2 x grey tinted, laminated, toughened glass hull portlights.
COCKPIT FURNITURE
An optional large cockpit table can fitted in the centre of the cockpit with space for a compass and optional navigational instruments (see price list for details).
DECK WASH / SHOWERS
A deck shower with hot and cold water is fitted as standard in the cockpit.
SPRAY HOOD / WINDSHIELD
Optional spray hood in swela dark grey (37365) canvas supported by a stainless steel framework (3 hinged frames).Whilst housed on the deck, the spray hood is covered by a canvas cover of same colour.
Alternative, an optional fixed windshield with an aluminium frame, toughened grey tinted curved glass and with the addition of a spray hood in swela dark grey (37365) canvas supported by a stainless steel framework (2 hinged frames). Whilst lowered, resting on top of the windshield, the spray hood is covered by a canvas cover of same colour. Alternative canvas colours on request.
Spars and RiggingSPARS
Fractional double spreader, tapered silver anodized aluminium mast stepped on steel frame, designed and engineered for Xc 35. Mainsail luff groove. Sheaves for main and main boom lift, gennaker and extra gennaker halyard, genoa and spinnaker pole lift.
Engine steaming light, Windex with light and tube for additional electrical wiring. Optional mast steps can be fitted.
Silver anodized aluminium boom with single line reefing (2 reefs) and internal boom outhaul, telescopic vang and outer purchase block system.
STANDING RIGGING
The Xc 35 is fitted with discontinuous rod rigging throughout with rod turnbuckles. Stainless steel chainplates for headstay and split backstay. Stainless steel tip cups for shrouds.

HEADSAIL FURLING
Headstay is furled using a Profurl R350Xc35 attached to the stemhead fitting. Furling line led back to cockpit for easy handling.

Navtec hydraulic integral backstay adjuster split backstay fitted as standard.

EngineYanmar (3YM-30) 3 cylinder, indirect injection diesel engine. Maximum power output is 21,3 kW (29 hp) at 3200 rpm.
As standard, the engine is fitted with a 12V / 125A alternator for charging the engine start and domestic batteries.
Engine control panel and throttle/gear lever placed in starboard cockpit coaming. Engine control panel incorporates rpm meter, hour counter, acoustic alarm for oil pressure and cooling water temperature.
Optionally, a mechanical throttle control can be fitted to starboard wheel pedestal on a stainless grab rail with stainless steel box which can accommodate the optional bow thruster�s control panel. Port wheel pedestal will be equipped with a stainless steel grab rail for safety and symmetry (see price list for details).
Engine is mounted to the hull structure using vibration reducing shock mounts.
AccommodationsDanish design and architecture is famous for its clean and timeless style. The Xc 35 interior is designed to work at open sea as well as moored.
The utmost care has been taken to design the interior of the Xc 35. From the basic layout, to the smallest details, everything has been carefully chosen to ensure that the Xc 35 is a perfect blue water cruising boat.
The Xc 35 is offered with one main cabin layout option. The layout has a dedicated navigation station with fixed chart table. In front of the chart table is a 204 cm sofa.

OWNER'S CABIN
Owner�s cabin with large double berth (205 x 175 cm max width) with marine plywood support with ventilation holes for improved ventilation and comfort. Two symmetrical large double wardrobes (68 x 62 cm) to starboard and port with hangers. Freeboard shelves above the berth (port and starboard). Additional storage for bedding below the berth. Floorboards with inspection hatch for good access to speed and depth transducers.
HEAD
Head, located aft starboard side, with a regular sized manually operated marine toilet, moulded sink with single lever luxury mixer tap, cupboard and mirror. Optional electrical regular size toilet can installed (see price list for details).
SALOON
The spacious saloon is flooded with light from coachroof openable portlights, hull portlights and openable deck hatch. The large foldable dining table with integrated wine bottle compartment and two drawers can comfortable host 6 guests. Seating consists of a spacious L-Sofa (204 + 94 x 61 cm) and a long starboard sofa (204 x 61 cm).
Upper cabinets behind the seating on either side of the saloon provide storage for glasses and personal items. An upper and lower book shelf complements the generous saloon area.
NAV STATION
A dedicated forward facing navigation table with amble space for charts, drawers underneath and nav seat. Positioned forward of the aft head.
Electrical switch board located adjacent to nav seat and additional space for navigational and communication equipment.
AFT CABIN
One cabin is located aft, port side of the engine room and include a double berth (198 x 180 cm, max width) with marine plywood mattress support with ventilation holes for improved comfort. Large shelve on freeboard above the berth for storage of personal items.
Double wardrobe (75 x 70 cm) with shelves and hanging space and a cupboard for shoes below.
GalleyThe spacious L-shaped galley (130 cm x 130 cm). Large worktop made in Camoan white Corian, with rectangular recessed stainless steel sinks with single lever mixing tap, complete with 2 cutting boards made of Delrin material.
An ENO 2 burner gimballed oven is fitted as standard. Optional ENO 3 burner gimballed oven with grill is available (see price lists for details). Under the oven there is cupboard for source and frying pans.
Beside the oven, a GRP top opening 120 litre coolbox with 100 mm insulation, built in Isotherm SP accumulator plate cooled by water cooled Danfoss/Secop compressor.
Isotherm SP can be upgraded to Isotherm Magnum refrigeration unit that can cool and freeze. See price list.
Shelves, drawers and lockers with plexi glass sliding doors provide storage space for cutlery and food.
1 x Waste bin, mounted in cupboard under the double sink.
