General Description
The redesigned GT60 was the first installment in the Hatteras GT Series, an exciting family of tournament class convertibles designed for serious anglers. It comes to market with best-in-class performance, unforgettable styling, and a construction pedigree that has made Hatteras Yachts the gold standard for more than 50 years. It is the culmination five decades of leadership in convertible design and propulsion development, combined with the latest technological advances in materials and methods utilized in fiberglass construction.
The Hatteras GT60 takes its exterior design cues from the 60C, but a newly redesigned cockpit and a touch of panache added to the overall design give this 60 a unique style of her own. But what is most noticeable about the GT60 is its performance.
The new GT60 easily cruises at 36 knots and has a range exceeding 400nm when equipped with CAT C32A’s @ 1900bhp. This performance is made possible by utilizing resin infusion technology in our solid fiberglass bottom hulls. This provides increased strength while allowing the boat to be much lighter than a traditional hand-laid vessel. Achieving these speeds while preserving our legendary ride, the models in the GT Series, represent the next generation in hull design from Hatteras.
Equipped to meet the standards of the most competitive anglers, the cockpit of the GT60 was designed for improved fishing as well as increased relaxation. Mezzanine seating is more comfortable than ever and cockpit features include a dedicated tackle center, in-deck fish boxes, and an optional recirculating live well at the transom. Stowage is excellent, with compartments for gaffs and boat hooks along with ample rod storage.
On the flybridge, the GT60 features a standard center console with room for three monitors and Palm Beach-style controls at the helm pod. For those needing more room for electronics and storage, a peninsula helm station is available. Both offer excellent visibility both forward and aft into the cockpit.

VIP Stateroom

Guest and Crew Staterooms
Two guest or crew staterooms are to starboard with a common head located between the two staterooms. Each stateroom has two single berths with closets. The forward stateroom has a large cedar lined closet and storage beneath the lower berth. The head compartment comes with Head Hunter marine toilet, shower stall with fixtures and white porcelain sink and granite tops with mirrored vanity and storage cabinet.
Cockpit & Fishing Gear
This 60 arrangement on the upper mezzanine deck includes a freezer outboard next to the centerline engine room access. Large Release marine fighting chair refinished and new cushions (8/2021)Just behind the bridge ladder to starboard are two tackle drawers hidden behind a drop down door. On the lower mezzanine level, a single large icebox to port s sized perfectly to house a professional –grade bait tray. To starboard is a large ice collection bin. Within the radius steps you’ll find a large refrigerated drink box and wet storage compartments for mop heads and chamois. Two massive fish boxes are located longitudinally in the cockpit sole. The cockpit is finished to the highest level, thanks to side cockpit scuppers that drain through the quarter-fenders and curved doors that hide the twin 50 amp inlets and quick disconnects for fresh and saltwater wash downs. The engine room features a similar attention to detail, thanks to its clean layout and faired surface for a true wipe and go finish.
