OVERVIEW:
This American Tug 395 has been a show boat for the East Coast Yacht Sales. She has never been titled. The engine is warrantied until June of 2020. The comprehensive Garmin electronics package was installed in the fall of 2017. She is essentially a new boat, with light usage on deliveries to boat shows between Maine and Annapolis. She has been flawless, and shows as new - clean as a whistle, and is a fantastic opportunity to buy an essentially new boat at a used boat price.
This boat has many useful and pleasing factory options, all detailed within this listing. Some of the major items include the Flybridge, the Electric Dinghy Crane/Davit, full wood floors in the salon and bridge areas, a stern thruster, and many others. The Garmin electronics package and a bimini over the flybridge were added on the East Coast.
Of course, the American Tug 395 standard equipment list is extensive, including a generator in a sound shield, air conditioning and heat, a gourmet galley, a bow thruster, a second sleeping cabin forward with a double lower berth and a single upper berth, a convertible settee in the salon that makes up into a double berth, etc. The many other details provided as standard make this a complete boat in almost every way - just add your galley gear, bedding, a dinghy, and you are ready to go!
The engine room is one of the best in the business - access is superb, the layout is fantastic, and the system and component installations are absolutely first rate. This is a part of the boat you will want to show your friends, and it is certainly the type of engine space one wants for long range cruising.
If we were to order a duplicate of this boat today, the price would be over $750,000. This is an amazing opportunity - we encourage you to come see her in Stonington, CT - you will not be disappointed!
ACCOMODATIONS:The American Tug 395 is an amazing layout in a boat of this size. Most notably, the two forward stateroom layout, along with a raised pilothouse and a large salon/galley area, creates a living space that is ideally suited to family cruising, living aboard, and two or three couple excursions. The flybridge and upper deck adds an entire extra living area - not to mention a full second helm and lounging area. The cockpit is a great place to hang out away from the sun under the extended hard top. And the swim platform offers the ultimate access to the tender or the water.
Finishes are top drawer - solid surface counter tops, beautifully figured Sapele hardwoods, luxurious upholstery, two stage blinds that allow light to filter or become black-out.
The master Stateroom is forward with a large centerline queen berth (76" x 57" tapered at the foot) and extensive storage in lockers and drawers. A cedar lined hanging locker is included, along with more storage than most people would know how to fill.
Aft to starboard is a second cabin with a double lower berth, and a single upper berth. The upper berth can hinge down to create a settee/couch if so desired. There is also exceptional storage in this cabin, another cedar lined hanging locker, drawers, and privacy behind the solid wood door.
The head is to port, and provides for significant storage and a large stall shower. The electric toilet is by Masterflush. Solid surface vanity counter top with undermount SS sink. A SS opening port and a overhead hatch (both with screens) give ventilation.
Up to the pilothouse, with two large ultra-leather covered bench seats (the pilot's seat is power operated). See PilotHouse description, below.
Down to the Salon with a huge L-shaped settee and a large dining table. The table drops down and the berth pulls out to create a double berth.
The Galley is opposite the settee to Starboard (See Galley, below).

Sliding door s port and starboard provide exceptional access to the exterior and also additional ventilation. The visibility from this pilot house, including back aft, is exceptional.
