Overview

The Privilege 615  SEA FOREVER is a luxury sloop-rigged catamaran launched in 2011 by Alliaura Marine. Powerful and elegant, the Privilège 615 is a charmer. Her easy-to-use deck plan and performance make this catamaran the ideal yacht for long-range cruising. She is seaworthy, with a top design, a fantastic build quality and is very well-equipped.

SEA FOREVER offers very spacious and friendly living areas: a wide main deck saloon with stunning panoramic views, communicating through an extra-large sliding door with a large aft cockpit perfect for al-fresco dining. All four guest and owner cabins are totally private and with air conditioning. She features also plenty of external deck space with a great flybridge for navigation and farniente on the large sun pads, as well as a beamy foredeck with 2 trampolines, perfect for sunning or just simply relaxing. SEA FOREVER has been very well maintained by a professional crew, is in excellent condition throughout and ready to cruise.

The salon (sitting and dining area, bar) has been designed for a maximum use of free space, is flooded with natural light and comfortably functional. Two loungers are available for reading or watching television. An L-Shaped bar with 2 drawer refrigerator/freezer and icemaker. The navigational position reserved for the skipper is perfectly and discreetly integrated on the port side. Thanks to the new design, the entire saloon opens out through a large sliding bay window onto the cockpit so that the teak deck is on the same level as the saloon.

Fall, 2014 (St. Martin) - $135,000
• Installed liners in all stanchion bases to eliminate play.  Replaced SS wire lifelines with spectra line
• New sound-dampening mounts on gensets, a/c pumps and compressors
• Replaced all lighting fixtures with LED’s
• Installed GOST security and tracking system (started this period; finished Fall, 2015)

Fall, 2015 (Fort Lauderdale) - $535,000
Converted entire boat from 50Hz (Euro) to 60Hz (U.S.).  This involved almost a complete rewire of all the AC voltage wires.  The original 13.5Kw Onan genset was converted to 60Hz, which increased it to about 15Kw.  Upgraded shore power to two cords of 50 amps each; can run the entire boat on shore power.  Many additional electrical upgrades in the process.  All electrical has been thoroughly inspected and approved by James Cote.  Most work done in 2015; finalized Fall, 2016.

• Re-bed and new backing for all cleats and made wide SS chafe and load-spreading plates for all
• While working on cleats, had access to forward crash compartment and replaced backing plates onforward I-beam; old ones were not adequate
• Added second cleat at anchor for moorings
• Reworked flybridge helm station instrument panels for easy access behind
• New Manson anchor and wash down on foredeck
• Re-glassed all the short bulkheads between salon and cabin soles and wing structure (Apparently, the tabbing coming loose in these locations is common on many production boats; problem solved)
• Re-glassed both keels to reinforce seams and strengthened
• Improved sound shields on both gensets
• Improvements to running rigging for Code 0 and tamed that beast
• Rework of STB forward storage locker adding shelves which double as ladder
• Custom exhaust backflow protection system designed and installed for each main engine (New larger exhaust lift muffler and separate backflow prevention system with underwater outlet to reduce engine noise)
