Deck Equipment
Stainless steel pulpit in bow, 2 stainless steel lateral pushpits in stern, a central pushpit in stern, double stainless steel lifelines all the way around, supported by 4 stanchions on each side. Stanchions are SS tapered at the top with a support leg. A Lewmar lP54 survey hatch is fitted on the transom. Life lines pad-eyes in cockpit.
Deck HardwareWinches: the 3 primary cockpit winches port and starboard and on the central winch island are Harken R60ST 3-speed. The 2 running backstay winches and mast winch are Harken R46.2 STA 2-speed. All deck blocks, sheaves and rings are Harken or Antal. Clutches are Spinlock and SS pad-eyes are Wichard.
CockpitCentral tiller with telescopic Spinlock tiller extension. The main sheet traveler is fitted on a transverse composite support. The steering positions are recessed into the deck to optimize ergonomics. Foot chocks on the cockpit floor provide footholds during maneuvers. A central winch and clutch island sits between the two companionway doors, with storage below. 4 custom line bags hold winch handles and sheets/ halyards. The cockpit is self-draining.
RigMast, boom and bowsprit are autoclave prepreg carbon made by Lorima. Mast has two sets of aluminum spreaders. Mast is deck-stepped and sits on an anodized aluminum plate. The bowsprit articulates via control lines led to the cockpit.

Fore CabinOne (1) lee cloth port and starboard for gear storage by water ballast tanks. Huge storage area or double berth in forepeak with cushions and central divider cloth. Lewmar LP60 hatch opens to foredeck. Battery storage in closed locker just forward of the mast bulkhead. Longitudinal hand rails on each side of coach roof. Iridium Pilot satellite dome mounted forward of mast on a shelf. Mast lighting and wind wand selector panel box mounted on mast bulkhead.
Central CabinDouble companionway doors. One stair step on each side for easy entry and exit. Central chart table with vertical 180� revolving electronic panel, 3 chart table seating positions. Central galley with stainless steel sink, fresh water pump and JetBoil burner, longitudinal hand rails on each side of coach roof. 1 bunk each port and starboard with lee cloths and cushions, 2 Hella fans, LED overhead light. 2 small Lewmar opening hatches on coach roof for ventilation.
Aft CabinJust aft of the companionway doors is a large storage area on each side. Starboard side has the water maker and ballast pump mounted on the floor. Port side has the B&G ACP auto-pilot control boxes mounted on the bulkhead. Further aft, there are large storage areas in port and starboard aft corners of the boat. The aft lazarette area has the steering gear, which is divided by a watertight bulkhead to a small area where the auto-pilot gear rams are mounted on the ceiling. Further forward, there is a Vetus 80 liter/ 22 gallon fiberglass diesel tank.

Steering SystemSystem developed by JP3: central tiller on false stock and bearings, transmission to the rudder by aluminum rudder bars with ball and socket joints. 49 MM diameter rudder stocks in F16PH. The two rudders hang beneath the boat and the rudder stocks are mounted on auto-aligning JP3 rudder bearings.
KeelThe keel is made of high modulus steel and the lead bulb was manufactured by the foundry Lemer. The fin is finished off in the yard with PVC foam, fiberglass and epoxy to a very fair pattern.

Water Ballast SystemTwo Sofoscoop type n�2 amidships bring water in and remove water from the ballast system via the Rule electric fill pump (spare included). There are two ballast tanks forward of the mast bulkhead which carry 250 L per side, and there are two tanks just aft of the companionway bulkhead which carry up to 500 L, for a total capacity of 750 L per side, which weighs about 1,600 pounds per side. Each ballast tank is fitted with a clear watertight inspection port and a vent to the deck. Ballast gate opening systems are bulkhead mounted and large diameter piping allows water transfer thwart ships.
Fresh Water SystemVetus 40 liter/12 gallon water tank mounted on centerline beneath cockpit with water hose to main galley sink. Katadyn Water maker is plumbed to feed tank.
DrainingManual bilge pump system with a long hose coiled in the stern which can reach to the bow and can be pumped from either the cockpit or inside the cabin.
