HALF CIRCLE is an exceptional example of this phenomenal performing Ray Hunt design.  Her first year of use was in fresh water.  The mast pod on her roof was modified by Grand Banks during original construction to be removable, so this particular boat, unlike sisterships, is easily moved by truck.  Offered in excellent condition additions of KVH Sat TV (not active), custom mast, and Palm Beach style cockpit bimini.

Two stateroom forward arrangement with preferred galley down configuration, and tastefully decorated with the Grand Banks Nautique package fabric collection for her furnishings.  She is fully air-conditioned with reverse cycle heat, as desired.

Located forward with centerline island berth, padded headboard, two drawer storage beneath, flanked by reading lights on the bulkhead at the berth head and nightstand/bureaus on either side.  Additional storage found in outboard cupboards and full length cedar lined hanging lockers aft, port & starboard.  A Sharp LCD color TV with integral DVD player is mounted facing the berth.

Private entry to the ensuite Head, also with passage way access,is aft to port with a SeaLand VacuFlush freshwater head and separate stall shower.  Two large storage cabinets are outboard of the custom Fieldstone Corian countertop with molded in sink.  Along with an opening port and overhead hatch, an outlet was added for A/C & heat to enhance the ventilation.

Located to starboard and outboard is a large double berth with padded headboard, bulkhead mounted reading lights, bureau inboard, and double door cedar lined full height hanging locker forward.  There is an overhead hatch, with skylight hatch/screen, and 2 opening ports with shades.  A Sharp LCD TV with integral DVD player is mounted facing aft on the hanging locker.

The cabin was customized and significantly improved by replacing the standard single door at the forward end of the cabin with double opening sliding pocket doors.  The intent was to provide a more open feeling for both the stateroom and the Galley opposite, eliminating the “walled� effect from the standard fore and aft bulkhead.

Up 3 steps from below or forward from the cockpit through a Dutch door is the Main Saloon and Helm station.  An optional double Stidd 1200 45� passenger seat is forward to port and opposite to starboard is the Stidd helm chair, both covered in Briarwood ultraleather.  Electronics mount in a teak helm console with Cat MPD engine monitors beneath and dual thruster joystick control. An alarm panel, separate electronics breaker panel, and remote windlass control, along with an adjustable 5 spoke teak rim wheel are part of the helm arrangement.

Aft to Port is a large U-shaped settee with storage below and a teak high/low table dinning/coffee table with folding leaves.  Just behind the dinette, the aft window can be hydraulically lowered.  Opposite to starboard is the entertainment center with 26� Samsung flat panel television and Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo system with 700 watt power amp, iPod port and subwoofer, connected to 4 saloon speakers and 2 cockpit speakers, in the locker below.  Built in cushioned chairs, also with storage beneath, surround the cabinetry.

The Saloon has screened sliding windows screens, two overhead hatches custom fitted with OceanAir screens/sun shades and electric opening windshield, controlled at the helm station.  In addition to curtains, custom OceanAire Skysol blinds are installed to cover all windows, including the forward windshield, excepting the aft door which has a pull down shade.  There is reverse cycle A/C with digital thermostat.

Easily accessed by teak steps from the port and starboard sidedecks or through the transom door from the extended swim platform.  A generous and comfortable custom Grand Banks fiberglass transom bench seat is aft with Navy Sunbrella cushions.  A large centerline hatch opens to an enormous lazarette with storage comparable to that found on much larger yachts.  There is a hot and cold shower, shoreside water inlet, TV/Cable inlet, discharge for the Glendinning Cablemaster shore cord and cockpit speakers thoughtfully placed in the cockpit.  A U-Line icemaker is in a front opening locker forward to starboard. The addition of a Palm Beach awning covers this area with stainless grab rails added for easy boarding.

Flag Blue Awlgrip, December of 2016, hull with white bootstripe, and gold cove.  Deck is Moondust nonskid on her side decks with laid teak sole cockpit floor.  Hull is vacuum bagged Herex cross linked closed-cell foam cored fiberglass above the waterline and solid fiberglass below.  The deck is vacuum bagged and cored with balsa.  Bottom has 3 layers of epoxy barrier undercoat.  Stemhead is fitted with stainless chocks and anchor roller.  Molded quarter guard rubrail with stainless striker.

The interior is high quality teak joinery finished in satin varnish with a teak and holley sole throughout.  Custom teak dorade boxes with removable chrome cowls provide natural ventilation when the boat is closed up.  The swim platform was extended with an additional 5 slats.
