Off Plane is an excellent example of a 2008 Mainship 34 Trawler and offers an incredible amount of living space for a vessel this size. In addition to a spacious cockpit, Fully-Enclosed Flybridge with seating for 8 guests; plus an Aft Upper Deck with a well-equipped Outdoor Kitchen.
Interior accommodations are tastefully and functionally designed to provide a comfortable home for a couple to live and cruise for extended periods of time, with occasional guests. Enter the Salon through large heavy-duty double doors with a full width privacy curtain, and the Varnished Cherry Cabinetry and synthetic PVC teak & holley floor create the ambiance of a finely-crafted yacht. To Port is a full size sofa settee that converts into a double berth. Large sliding tempered glass opening windows with wood blinds on each side of the Salon provide excellent ventilation when the Salon A/C with reverse heat is not needed. The AC & DC Electrical Panels, TV antenna control, and Digital A/C Controller Display are conveniently located behind double varnished Cherry cabinet doors to Starboard at eye-level, as you enter the Salon. A secondary access to the engine room is located under the the cabin sole at the entry of the Salon.
Forward are two bar stools at the Corian-surfaced top of the Galley that makes a convenient breakfast bar. Below is a large deep cabinet with storage. Across the Salon are two comfortable chairs on either side of a folding leaf table. Aft is a wall-mounted Solé TV with JVC DVD player and two salon Stereo Speakers. Below is a two door cabinet with 3 shelves, ideal as an extra pantry or general storage.
Forward to Starboard is the Pilothouse Helm with a varnished wooden steering wheel, full engine instrumentation, Raymarine Color Chartplotter & Radar Display, and Bow Thruster Joystick. A sturdy weather-tight door opens to the Starboard side deck and the center window of the Windshield is hinged at the top and opens for ventilation.
Moving Forward and down several teak steps on center-line, the U-Shaped Galley is to Port and the Head to Starboard. The well-equipped Galley has ample Corian counter-tops, a 2-drawer AC/DC Refrigerator, a SS Sink with a designer faucet, built-in Microwave, and 2-burner Ceran smooth-surface Stove.
Opposite is the private Head with vanity, sink, electric toilet with storage above, and a large Glass-enclosed shower stall with adjustable height designer shower head and a molded fiberglass seat outboard.
Forward is the Master Stateroom with center-line walk-around double berth with storage drawer below, carpeted floor, and large hanging lockers on each side aft. A digital A/C controller for the 7,000 BTU system keeps this area cooled or heated as necessary.
Natural ventilation in the Master SR is provided by a 24"x24" opening deck hatch with retractable sun & privacy shade as well as a retractable screen above the Berth, and SS Opening ports are located on each side, plus one in the Head. Recessed overhead Halogen lighting and easy-to-find rocker-style switches are conveniently located on the walls in each area. There is a varnished wooden grab rail conveniently running along the center-line of the Salon Ceiling.
GalleyThe U-Shaped Galley is well-appointed with varnished Cherry Cabinetry, Corian Counter Tops, and is conveniently located near the center of the vessel for comfort when underway. The Galley features:
