Vessel OverviewThis Ocean Alexander 50 Classicco Pilothouse offers the long range cruising capabilities of a rugged passagemaker while providing the comforts, amenities, and craftsmanship of a luxury motoryacht. Designed and outfitted to go anywhere, her collapsible mast reduces bridge clearance from 23' to 19.6', more than enough to easily transit the Great Loop. Her shallow draft allows her to enjoy the picturesque "inside" ICW passage down through the Florida Keys. Hydraulic stabilizers and her Ed Monk Jr. design make her a very stable and seaworthy offshore cruiser. The John Deere diesel provides efficiency, reliability, and outstanding range. Get home ability is available through the hydraulic power take-off from the generator, driving the main propeller shaft. Bow and stern thrusters allow for ease in maneuvering at the dock.

Vessel WalkthroughThe Ocean Alexander 50 Classicco Pilothouse is the quintessential couple's cruising yacht. Her interior is open and very spacious, with an abundance of seating, storage, and natural light. Satin finished teak joinery with teak and holly soles are found throughout the vessel.
Starting aft there is the spacious aft deck with teak sole. The aft deck features full overhead protection from the extended flybridge above, a starboard transom boarding door, an aft transom door to the swim platform, and a large floor hatch to the lazarette and engine room.
From the aft deck moving forward, you will pass through a large sliding door to the large salon (12' x 12') with Ultraleather L-shaped settee, hydraulic high/low table, (2) Ultraleather ottomans, and a new Samsung Smart HD TV on an electric lift
Forward of the salon is the fully equipped gourmet galley to starboard with abundant teak cabinetry and Silestone counter tops.
Moving forward on the port side up (4) steps you reach the spacious pilothouse. Features include a fully adjustable Stidd helm chair, teak dinette table, day berth, helm console, and port and starboard access doors. These doors provide access to the Portuguese bridge w/Sunbrella cushioned settee,and then forward to the foredeck The flybridge and boat deck are also accessed through the port side pilothouse door which leads to a protected companionway and stairs leading up
Moving forward and down a beautiful curved port side staircase you reach a central companionway.
Starting forward, the guest stateroom features a high single berth to port and a lower single berth to starboard, an abundance of drawers, cabinets and shelves for storage, and a cedar lined hanging locker with automatic lighting. Across from the hanging locker is a teak-raised panel closet containing the stacked Maytag washer and dryer. There is a large overhead hatch with sunshade along with (2) opening port lights (port and starboard).
Moving aft, you find the guest head to starboard with Silestone counter top vanity, Tecma fresh water electric toilet, Grohe sink and shower fixtures, opening port light, and non-skid fiberglass sole.
Aft and down (2) steps is the mid-ship master stateroom with athwartship full queen island berth featuring a custom made mattress. This cabin has abundant storage in multiple drawers, cabinets, and cedar- lined hanging lockers, along with 'easy access' under-berth storage. There are (2) opening ports that provide ventilation and natural light. A flat screen TV/DVD, custom teak corner curio unit, and mirrored panels complement the aft section of this stateroom. The ensuite head features a stall shower with Silestone seat, Silestone counter top on vanity, Grohe shower and sink fixtures, Tecma fresh water electric toilet, and opening port lights.
Special Note: There are high quality screens for all opening ports.
