Back Coves are known for their spoon shaped bow and gently sloped transom. The boat speaks of the Maine lobster boat heritage. Below the waterline is a modern V-Hull awaiting the owner to push the throttle forward and jump up onto plane.

Back Coves boast great fuel economy. The owner can cruise at 15.8 knots and only burn 8.7 gallons of fuel per hour. Push the Back Cove up to 23.6 knots and the burn rate is only 12.6 gallons per hour.

Back Cove Yachts are both beautiful and practical and are a delight to run. With ample room in the cockpit, simple and well thought out onboard systems, and a comfortable cabin with private head below. Back Coves are built with the pride of ownership in Maine and are a real "head turner" at the dock or on water.

Navona is one of the cleanest and least used 29' Back Coves on the market today. The microwave, stove and refrigerator have never been used. This boat has never been used overnight nor slept on. The owner has a pair of shoes on the boat to be used when he comes on board. Shoes that have been worn to the boat are not allowed to be worn onboard. The owner has only used Navona for trips around Gloucester and the boat looks better than the day I sold it new, to the owner, back in 2007.

The pictures used for this listing are "SISTERSHIP" photos as the owner takes off all cushions and helm chairs and stores them at home during the winter. The boat is waiting for spring to get them back.

The helm seats have been upgraded to high back chairs with a fold-up seat for leaning against when standing and running the boat. The owner has put a lot of time into maintaining this great looking Back Cove.
