This 280 Express is the nicest twin engine gas powered 280 with a trailer. The desirable straight shaft inboard power, no tower and custom trailer make for a great package which can be moved on land. This is no lightweight either and anglers throughout the world have enjoyed this model's production since 1984. Originally the 27, she got a major production refit in 1996 including a re-designed floor plan, slightly raised deckhouse for more headroom which prompted Albemarle to rename her with her three different running gear options 280/282/285. 280 is the inboard option which is this boat, the 282 is a single jackshaft option, and the 285 is the twin jackshaft option.
