SWEETIE is a unique example of this exceptional performing Ray Hunt design, known for their sea keeping and sea kindly characteristics.  Her original owner’s mandate was to create the fastest but quietest Eastbay 49 ever built.  With a reported $100,000 spent on soundproofing to achieve 74 db at cruise, his relentless attention to details during construction and the many custom changes made from upgraded air conditioning to bow and stern thruster and so much more, it is hard to argue he wasn’t successful.
