Accommodations
Comfortably able to accommodate ten guests on her spacious helm deck with ample seating, including dining for six. The aft cockpit comfortably seats six. Below deck are guest accommodations for five in three cabins. The master stateroom has a large queen berth with ensuite head and enclosed stall shower with generous locker space. The port guest stateroom features twin berths with full head and stall shower directly across to starboard. A third single stateroom is directly across from the galley, on starboard, and features a large full height storage locker with adjustable shelves along with the normal bureau. The entire sole below decks is varnished teak and holly. Helmdeck and cockpit are covered in laid teak.
Master StateroomLocated forward with customized centerline island queen berth widened by 6 inches, and with a custom built mattress, flanked by swing away reading lights on the bulkhead at the head of the berth. Huge storage area under the berth is accessed by gas shock assisted lift. Additional storage is beneath this locker in the two drawers. Two full bureaus and a hanging locker were custom designed for additional storage alongside the berth. A full-length teak framed mirror is on the aft bulkhead. Additional overhead lighting has been installed.
A/C airflow was split into 2 vents, relocated to make sure sleep is not interrupted. Compressors were moved to the engine room to eliminate noise. Screened opening ports are located in the cabin sides and head. The overhead opening hatch has both a screen and sunshade.
The ensuite full Master Head, with added A/C & heat, is aft to port with a VacuFlush freshwater head and separate stall shower with custom teak & glass folding door. Two large sliding door storage areas outboard of custom Corian countertops and drawer are provided.
Guest StateroomLocated to port with two athwartship berths with extra large drawers beneath, teak custom-built bookshelves above each berth, and a louvered door cedar lined full height hanging locker between. There is an overhead hatch, with skylight hatch/screen, and opening ports.
The customized Guest Head, also with A/C & heat, and separate stall shower, teak/glass bifold door, is across the passageway to starboard. Counters are Corian, a large mirror outboard, and freshwater VacuFlush toilet.
Third StateroomOn the starboard side across from the galley is a single stateroom with built in bureau forward and mirror above. A custom full height storage locker with adjustable shelves is aft. The area is well designed as an additional sitting area or sleeping space for a child, extra hand, captain or simply significant storage. It is identical to what can be found in the Eastbay 54.
GalleyU shaped and to port at the foot of the bridgedeck stairs. Corian counters with teak fiddles and cabinets above with drawer and cabinet storage beneath. Sink is a single large unit with Grohe single lever faucet for pressure hot and cold water, Grohe soap dispenser, mug rack above and teak/glass door liquor and glass locker inboard. A Seaward 3 burner electric cooktop outboard has customized storage beneath. A large top opening locker outboard forward and the top opening freezer is in the aft outboard corner. Under the aft counter are separate front opening teak door SubZero refrigerator and freezer w/icemaker. A Microwave/Convection oven is installed above the counter. Additional under cabinet lighting has been added forward and aft, and a remote VHF handset is on the aft bulkhead.
HelmdeckUp 3 steps from below or forward from the cockpit is the helm deck with optional factory fabricated extended hard sides and tinted side windows.
Port side - - A large L-shaped settee is located aft, storage below, with a teak high/low table that also slides in/out for easier access. Settee has been extended forward by 11 inches with a drop leaf added to the table. Forward of the settee is a companion bench seat with Norcold refrigerator beneath for cold drinks. The bench seat has a footrest forward and reversible backrest to join a larger social gathering. Outboard of the bench seat is a custom holder for drinks, binoculars etc. Forward of the seat is a large chart locker, and a locker that contains the full Bose Audio Visual System.
Starboard Side - - Opposite the L-shaped settee is an additional bench seat with storage beneath. Above it is a large drop down flat screen TV in a teak locker with access to air, cable shore connection and DirecTV. Forward of the bench seat is a Stidd Helm Chair with electronic controls for height and for/aft movement and a stainless destroyer style wheel with varnished teak rim. The helm has been custom modified and enlarged to accommodate the electronics suite.
The helm deck has two sliding windows with screens, two overhead hatches custom fitted with OceanAir screens and sun shades, and an electric opening windshield, controlled at the helm station. There are two reverse cycle A/C units for the helm deck, positioned to provide heat and cooling for all parts of this area. The aft view is wide open with clear hard removable enclosures.
Lockers beneath the bench seat and secondary engine room hatch have gas assisted lifts.
CockpitA few steps down from the helmdeck as well as easily accessed by teak steps from the port and starboard sidedecks or through the transom door from the extended swim platform. Stainless grab rails were added for easy boarding. There is a built in aft facing cushioned bench seat, Hot & Cold shower and two teak deck chairs with table. The factory installed TNT Hydraulic lift system under an extended swim platform accommodates up to an 11 foot dinghy. Engine room access is through a hinged door with heavy-duty gas assisted lifts, and three large hatches to open to the lazarette where there is ample storage for equipment, golf clubs or other gear. Floodlights and 3 additional Cantaluppi flush lights under the aft overhang, along with under coaming cockpit floods, port & starboard switches at boarding points, illuminate the cockpit.
ConstructionFlag Blue hull with white bootstripe, and gold cove. Deck is Moondust nonskid on her side decks with laid teak sole on bridgedeck and cockpit floor. Hull is vacuum bagged foam cored fiberglass above the waterline and solid fiberglass below. The deck is vacuum bagged and cored with balsa. Bottom has epoxy barrier undercoat. Stemhead is fitted with stainless chocks and anchor roller. Molded quarter guard rubrail with stainless striker.
