Accommodations
The MJM 34Z was conceived of as a couples boat and hence accommodations below are for two but if one wishes the helm deck settees make very comfortable berths as well (the listing broker writes from experience) so when desired, accommodates four. Below there is ample natural light and ventilation with two opening ports in the house, two in the hull side and a large overhead hatch. Generous 12 Volt lighting throughout with numerous overhead halogen dome style lamps and swivel style reading lamps at the berth/settee. When the natural ventilation is not enough, the vessel is fitted with reverse cycle air conditioning (heats & cools) with air handlers both on the helm deck and below.
The convertible V-berth area is over 7' in length and doubles as a dining area. The table drops down to act as a filler for this berth. There is an abundance of storage in lockers below the berth, in a flip top type locker in the sole and in shelves above the berth. Additional storage is in drawers and lockers aft and to starboard.
The galley is aft and to port (see below) while to starboard is the enclosed head featuring an ensuite shower draining to a separate sump, Corian vanity top with polished stainless steel sink and H&C pressure water.
Up two steps (storage and battery switches under) to the helm deck which is the social center of the MJM 34 Z. Single Stidd seats P&S are followed by inboard facing bench seats, all are upholstered in cream Ultra-leather. Below the bench seats are what only can be described as voluminous, storage lockers of such size that either are capable of storing two bicycles with the handle bars on. A varnished teak table with folding leaf will handle up to five for lunch. A small step down and one is in the adjoinging cockpit with full width transom seat with easily removed section to access the transom door. The transom seat was upgraded to the "40Z" style seat as part of her 2012/13 refit.
A key feature of the MJM 34Z is the easily managed canvas that ensconces the helm deck, less than five minutes to roll it all up to its stored position. Thanks to the carefully designed bow flare with the helm deck opened up, one does not feel windblown but just enjoys pleasant levels of ventilation. With her naturally "dry" running performance there is almost never even a drop of spray in the cockpit!

The MJM 34Z is a modified deep-V hull with 18 degree deadrise at the transom continuing 11' forward and then continuous deadrise to the bow. The hull is cored with 3/4" Corecell closed cell foam and then solid laminate on centerline, the chine flats and rails. The laminate itself is wet pre-pregged E-glass with a Kevlar outer skin for weight savings and strength in a 60/40 glass resin ratio epoxy resin. The entire structure is heated to 140 degrees and fully post cured crating the lightest and strongest hull structure possible.

AdditionalOriginally based in Florida, this MJM 34Z went back to the builder's yard (Boston Boat Works) in late 2012 and was given an extensive re-fit in 2012/13. Since that time she has only been used in fresh water and is for sale only as her owner wishes to move up within the MJM family.
An inspection by the listing broker showed her to be in excellent condition throughout. Simply put, it is hard to believe that a 2004 boat can look this good but she does! She is attractively priced and should sell quickly.
