 The ETAP construction is unique, the deck and hull are double-skinned. The hollow space between the two decks and two hulls is filled with closed-cell polyurethane foam along with the area below the forward berth and part of the aft. The ETAP 32S is certified unsinkable by the French Merchant Marine. The closed cell structure is almost entirely non-absorbent and provides good insulation and sound deadening.
