This is a stunning example of one of Hatteras' best running boats coupled with custom details on the interior. It's equipped with an awesome electronics package, extra 12" screens tied to an elaborate camera system. This boat, although sans a tower, is very well equipped to tackle any fishing adventure you and your crew want to undertake or simply a wonderful cruising vessel for any destination you desire.
Hatteras made a running change on this boat starting in this 2003 model year. Newly designed prop pockets allow the draft to be reduced from 6' to 5'1" giving the bottom more surface area for more lift. With that the shaft angle can be reduced giving the boat more forward thrust. In addition the intakes have been centralized in newly designed "sea chest" which allows for a smoother less turbulent bottom. Essentially this makes the boat faster and more efficient. This is a perfect draft for anyone interested in island cruising.

Flybridge
You have one of the best vantage points from the Murray helm seat of this boat. While underway all of your electronics and system monitors are in full view. Even the ones that aren't are covered by the camera system which display's on the screens in front of you. Like the three cameras mounted in the engine room, or the two cameras viewing forward, one of which is infrared, even what's going on in the salon!! Backing down on a fish or docking at your favorite destination is a breeze with full view of the cockpit and transom. Atop the ladder to port is a straight lounge with an L-shaped lounge to starboard. There is plenty of storage for your gear and rods beneath both and in the front compartment. Nice polished rails flank you aft of the helm and companion seats. These polished rails and the powder coated handrails make moving around underway safe and easy. All of the system controls including the hydraulically operated outriggers are in easy reach from the helm seat. There is a separate am/fm/cd player for your listing pleasure under your own control. Accomodations
What a great layout, this is one of my favorite boats from Hatteras and quiet well may be yours too with the customized additions this knowledgeable owner has worked into this design.
This is a standard three stateroom three head arrangement. It has the curved stairwell leading from the galley/salon area down to the companionway. Off to the port side you have the entrance to the Master with athwartship master bath. Opposite to starboard is the entrance to the side guest stateroom. Just forward is the day head, with the washer and dryer just down the hall. The guest Bow Stateroom is of course all the way forward with a private entrance to the head. Below is just a brief description of what you will see when you take a peak at this beauty!

Salon
As you enter the salon through the starboard side glass door you face the aft facing L-shaped sofa. This is covered in neutral Destiny Wheat Ultra Leather with plenty of storage below. This blends very well with the cashew colored textured carpeting found throughout the boat. The feeling of extra wide open space is enhanced by the gloss maple wood cabinetry. Sitting on the sofa you have an unobstructed view of the 42" plasma TV located in the starboard side cabinetry. Forward is the dinette also is covered in the warm Destiny Wheat Ultra Leather. The dinette and galley counters add a nice contrast with black Matrix Matte finished Avonite solid surface countertops. Located on the forward wall above the dinette is the integrated stereo and entertainment system. In addition to that there is a duplicate navigation system with a Ray Marine chart plotter and radar. Icom 602 VHF, and a generator st/stp panel.
The window coverings were replaced with custom Hunter Douglass duets which are quiet underway and offer complete privacy or an unobstructed wide open view outside. Carpet runners cover the entire salon from the entryway to the dinette and again from the stairs down the companionway to the staterooms. The A/C is vented through the fluted wood valances for a gentle flow of air and uniform coverage without that "blast" of air hitting you in the face. Other features include:

Galley
The galley is forward of the salon and to port of the dinette. It too has beautiful black Matrix Matte finished Avonite countertops. Below are three under counter drawer units housing two AC refrigerators and one AC freezer unit. Turn around facing forward you have an oversized stainless steel sink with faucet outboard that has a garbage disposal standard and storage below. Next there is a four burner cook top. Above that a convection microwave covered with a cabinet door when not in use. More cabinet storage and two large pullout drawer units that hold a tremendous amount of food and galley goods. To the starboard side is the curved companionway covered with fluted maple wood that hides and houses the electrical control panel. All of your necessary and most frequently used electrical switches and monitors are located here. The ones less used are located safely away in the engine room. Master Stateroom
Down the companionway to port is the pocket door leading to the Master stateroom. There is a very comfortable queen sized athwart ship bed a padded head board and night stands flanking each side. Aft are two very large wide open style closets each with two doors for most any wardrobe needs. At the foot of the bed is a custom 30" LCD TV mounted high on the wall for ease of viewing. The corner storage cabinet houses the entertainment system complete with CD/DVD player, VCR, and stereo receiver, all connected to a Sat connection. There is a generator start/stop panel and gauges mounted on the wall next to the bed for a quick monitor and start if necessary. The AC here too is vented through the valance for a gentle flow of fresh air. Attached of course is a private entrance to your head.
Master Head
The master head features a bow front maple wood cabinet topped with an Avonite solid surface counter. The sinks here are integrated with the tops as is the backsplashes with high quality faucets. Full Plexiglas mirrored medicine/storage cabinets above and full mirrored ceilings. The overhead hatch allows natural ambient light through and extra ventilation when wanted. The flooring is Amtico vinyl strip which is a snap to clean up and looks like real wood without all of the problems. The toilets are full sized freshwater Headhunter system that works flawlessly. The separate stall shower has a door and an automatic sump pump. Other highlights include:

Guest Stateroom & Head
The day head also has it's entryway from the companionway. It is set up with similar features to the master. Just forward in the companionway hidden behind door number two is the washer and dryer. This is a full sized stackable unit with easy access.

Cockpit
151sqft cockpit is layed out perfectly for the most discerning fisherman or a cruiser. This one is equipped with a transom door and a coaming gate leading to a comfortable swim platform. Seawater and freshwater wash downs with Hatteras patented disconnects. Port and starboard hatches to the lazarette and fuel tank connections. The bait and tackle center has a sink with faucet, a cutting board, and storage below. There is a drop in bait freezer to port and a storage tub to starboard. For all of your catches there is an 80" removable fish box with macerator flush mounted in the deck. Then there is a molded in transom fish box with a drain. Overhead lights under the overhang illuminate the work area quite well. Plenty of rod holders and more storage under the two steps leading to the salon. To ease your trips up and down the ladder Pipewelders built a custom ladder package with wide Lexan steps.
