Vessel Walkthrough
The Californian Veneti 56' features 2 staterooms including a mid-ships master stateroom and two full heads with stall showers. She is tastefully finished in a very warm high gloss walnut wood interior, Corian counter tops and designer fabrics. It is a perfect live aboard/cruising platform for 1 or 2 couples or a family who wish to get away for the weekend or for extended periods.
AccommodationsAs you step into the salon, the first thing you will notice is the entertainment center that is complete with a Bose surround sound and Direct TV, powered by a gyro-stabilized Seatel dome. Next to the entertainment center is a very nice galley. "Alpha Dog" has 5 separate air conditioning units that are individually controlled in their own spaces for optimum comfort (2 units on the pilothouse and 3 units for salon and bedrooms). To the port side is a large and well laid out galley complete with 2-burner cook top, microwave, full-sized refrigerator/freezer and oven. There is a built-in washer and dryer as well.
Large hanging lockers, abundant drawers and a large Owners head with a separate shower and Vacu flush head.
Forward of the Master suit is the guest head, complete with Vacu flush head, separate stall shower with access to the main hallway and with access to the forward VIP stateroom.
The VIP stateroom has a Queen size berth, TV, and 3/4 lockers, with drawers as well.

Master StateroomVery nicely located mid-ship, the master stateroom is well appointed, with a full walk-around Queen berth, hanging lockers and drawer storage. It also has port holes for natural light, a 19" flat screen TV/DVD player, intercom-phone and en suite head featuring Corian tops, vanity and separate shower stall.

Guest StateroomThe guest stateroom is forward, with centerline Queen berth, hanging locker and drawer storage, 13" TV/DVD player, en-suite head with Corian tops, vanity and a separate shower stall. There is also a circular overhead deck hatch for natural light.

HeadsThey are well laid out, with one solely for Master Stateroom and the second offers access from the guest stateroom and company for use as a day head.
HelmThe helm deck area is covered by a molded fiberglass hardtop and is hard on 3 sides with windows on the port and starboard sides, 3 windows forward and a soft aft enclosure panel. There is a sliding overhead acrylic hatch for extra lighting and ventilation. This area is air conditioned and has great visibility while navigating and or entertaining. There is bound carpet overlay, a huge L-Shaped wrap around settee on the port side with cushions and storage beneath. There is also a folding teak hi-low table, a double bench style helm seat with cushions, intercom system, over head lighting, stereo speakers and 2 sets of aft curtains one set is white canvas and the other is Isinglass for visibility. The helm navigation station is spacious and well laid out with Edson hynautic wheel steering and Volvo electronic controls and gauges. This area is extremely comfortable and ideal for entertaining or simply relaxing either at dockside or while under way!!
The helm on "Alpha Dog’ " is outfitted with the latest in Marine electronics, including a new color Raymarine Radar, autopilot, standard touch GPS with Max D plotting software, Raymarine sonar, Bow thruster, LED forward searchlight and a 3 HD wipers. Nothing has been spared in this electronics suite and you will find redundant systems on battery chargers and the Air Conditioning Pump, making this a true long range cruiser or great express weekender.
The helm has excellent visibility with a full enclosure and two new air conditioning units of 16,000 BTU (Jan 2014) .
Aft of the cockpit seating is an upgraded 1000 pound hydraulic davit system, so no more swinging your dinghy out by hand.

CockpitThe cockpit features a molded fiberglass swim platform with Teak sole overlay. There is a new in 2007 Freedom hydraulic lift which houses a new in 2007 12' Zodiac inflatable with Yamaha 25hp 4 stroke motor with approximately 50 hours. There is a Glenndinning cable master, 2 walk through transom doors with stainless steel swinging gates, lift up storage area with freshwater washdown, (2) aft facing lights, dockside cable TV and telephone outlet. The cockpit has bound carpeting over molded fiberglass non skid, there is a full beam bench seat with cushions and cover. There is a lift up hatch for access to the spacious engine room. There is a full wet bar area with sink, refrigerator, storage cabinetry and a "Miele" electronic grill, 110 VAC outlet and overhead lighting. There is also a shower bib with hot and cold water.

RemarksAnyone looking for a euro-style express cruiser owes it to themselves to look at "ALPHA DOG". She has a very warm, comfortable interior, and an extremely spacious helm deck and cockpit area. She has very low hours and is in excellent cosmetic condition! She has a good turn of speed and is very economical to operate with her fuel efficient Volvo diesels.
Her owner has purchased a larger M/Y and is a serious seller.
