A Fresh Water Boat in Florida the best of both worlds. A lovely cared for 2002 473 Commissioned on Lake Erie and was a seasonal boat only until two years ago when she was brought south. The North is so much easier on a boat with a softer sun and winter shed. That said she shows very well.
Owner wants her sold!  As a Broker I can say Songs of Ireland is a very clean Yacht! She has NO corrosion anywhere, topside or below deck! She has been well cared for by an engineer and it shows.  You will not find a cleaner used Yacht, if a 473 is for you then Songs of Ireland is for you.  She goes back into the water the end of December with a new bottom job of 10 coats of interlux  mycron 66

She was designed in accordance with European RCD requirements and CE certification, these regulations ensure that the Océanis Clipper 473 incorporates the minimum safety requirements including:  Safety and protection of persons on board.  Durability of materials.  Stability and safety.  Safety when maneuvering.  Fire protection.  Protection of the environment and reduction of engine emissions.

The hull is a single-skinned hull is of GRP construction. The structure is reinforced at various points (keel, rudder, chain plates, deck line, etc.). A structural single-skinned inner molding is bonded and laminated to the hull. Its structural role is important as it takes and absorbs the stresses at pressure points (chain plate tie rods, keel, rudder, etc.) and spreads any loads, guaranteeing reduced strain on the hull. The surface of the inner molding makes cleaning easier and provides a better finish. The standard hull color is white with blue and silver decoration.

DECK - The deck is of sandwich (fiberglass/balsa) construction for an optimal strength/weight ratio and excellent thermal and sound insulation. A ?diamond point? non-slip surface increases safety over all areas of movement on deck. - HULL/DECK JOINT - The hull/deck joint is secured by way of a bonded and screwed teak bulwark. This mechanical assembly ensures that the hull/deck joint is watertight and provides extra safety while moving about on deck.
KEEL - The keels (deep/shallow draft) are constructed in cast iron. The keels are fixed to the boat by a system of screws and stainless steel backing plate and bonding. To improve their durability, the keels are given anti-corrosion treatment and improved finish in the factory before assembly, using epoxy based coatings and paint.
