Sleeps a total of 2 with ample room for day guests. The cabin features six feet of headroom and is finished in varnished cherry joinery and a teak and holly sole. � A very large V-berth with a removable filler insert is forward and includes storage underneath.� 

There are four large screened stainless steel opening ports and a large overhead deck hatch for excellent ventilation and light� below.� 

The enclosed head with room for a morning shower is to starboard and features a Jabsco marine toilet, sink with faucet/shower, and two large storage lockers in the vanity.� 

Other features include an Isotherm refrigerator, counter, and storage space. The well-appointed Herreschoff style interior features cherry cabinets, bone white laminate, and cherry vertical surfaces with solid cherry trim.� Overhead is the� padded headliner with generous lighting.� 

Seating on the helm deck and cockpit easily accommodates nine. The copilot seat to port is tall with visibility equal to that of the helmsman, whose seat is to starboard. Other standard features include an opening center windshield, recessed trim tabs, flush-mounted hardware, secure bow rails, and hydraulic steering. Storage throughout is abundant, with under-berth stowage, a hanging locker, and storage below all the bench seats.

The GALLEY is to port and includes a�  polished stainless steel sink, hot & cold pressure water, under counter Isotherm AC/DC refrigerator with freezer, and ample counter space, and a Princess two burner propane stove. There is a teak dish rack mounted on the bulkhead, a large locker under the sink, and a storage cabinet above.�

"The Legacy 28 features an abbreviated keel that allows for good tracking, a modified-V entry that takes the bang out of the seas, and a flat aft section that gives the boat stability and easy planning.�  Even with a powerful engine, the 28 is quiet, with low vibration, and virtually free of exhaust fumes. An oversized, pot-style muffler also keeps the sound down and an underwater exhaust system eliminates diesel fumes underway.
