Accommodations

YOLO is a 3 Stateroom, 2 Head layout.  She has a well equipped Nav Station and Galley.  

The spacious cockpit is accessible from boarding gates on each side deck or from the teak covered sugar-scoop transom swim platform, with a hinged helm seat that folds down and aft into the swim platform for easy access to the cockpit. The large, like-new Bimini and Dodger with removable Sunbrella zippered Connector provide excellent protection from the sun and rain, and cover for the companionway. A two-leaf folding table attached to the helm pedestal, provides storage in the fixed center section and plenty of table space for your crew and guests when entertaining.

Enter the elegant salon from the companionway, down curved teak stairs that help you keep your footing on even the most extreme angles of heel. The warm glow of honey-colored satin-finished varnished teak cabinetry and teak cabin sole will calm your soul, and the energy-efficient glow of the new LED recessed lighting, multiple opening ports and deck hatches in the galley, salon and dinette will provide plenty of light and fresh air.  All interior cushions professionally cleaned 4/18.

Two CruiseAir, digitally controlled air conditioning and reverse heat systems, a 16,000 and 9,000 BTU each, can be operated from shore-power or at any other time by using the 4.2Kw Fischer Panda Generator, located in an easily accessible teak cabinet in the aft starboard stateroom. The engine is easily accessible under the companionway stairs which are hinged and lift up. Additional engine room access panels are on each side of the engine in each of the two private aft Staterooms with double berths, generous-sized varnished teak storage lockers, shelves, 8 opening deck and 10 opening port-light hatches with screens & sunshades.

To Port of the companionway stairs is the Guest Head, with vanity, sink, shower and New 2015 manual marine toilet. Opposite to Starboard is the Nav Station, with a large teak chart table with storage under the hinged desk, under and behind the curved seat. Repeater Navigation electronics are wall-mounted, along with the 120VAC & 12VDC Circuit Breaker Panels and Generator Control Panel.

Along the Port side of the Salon is the well-equipped Galley, with large deep, top-loading freezer, refrigerator, 3-Burner SS Stove & Oven, built-in Microwave Oven, deep SS sink, lots of counter and storage space above and below the countertops, and a pantry storage area under the adjacent Dinette Seat. Opposite the Galley, the Dinette is to Starboard and comfortably will seat 8 guests and crew.

Moving forward offset to Port in the forward Salon teak bulkhead is the door to the Master Stateroom with a Center-line double-berth, seating, shelves and hanging lockers on both sides, plus two large teak drawers under the aft end of the bed. The interior of the hull, throughout this yacht is lined with varnished teak, providing sound and environmental insulation, as well as the fit and finish only found on the best of sailing yachts. The private Master Head is located to Starboard, aft of the berth, and features a NEW 2014 toilet, hinged shower cover seat, vanity with sink , shower, and ample storage.

All domestic water hose and sanitation hoses have been recently replaced.

The concept and construction of the Oceanis 461 is directly linked to the Oceanis range experience. Owing much to her predecessors, whether in terms of her dimensions, the technology used, or aesthetic and practical choices, the Oceanis 461 fits perfectly into Beneteau's cruising range. Her long hull, designed by Bruce Farr and Associates, has great potential for impressive speed while giving that quiet, powerful sensation only felt on board true offshore cruising yachts.

The structure of the Oceanis 461 is based on the same principles that have made such a success of the whole range; the bonded and laminated inner molding ensure the best possible spread of rigging and keel loads throughout the hull. Her rigging is also classic and efficient. A masthead furling genoa (drum on deck) guarantees the necessary power for an easy passage. The optional furling mainsail is also offered.

The deck layout reflects the spirit of comfort and efficiency that has prevailed in the Oceanis 461 from her conception: teak-capped bulwark for elegance and safety, electric windlass half recessed into the anchor well, large sunbathing area forward, uncluttered sidedecks with chainplates centered against the coachroof.

The cockpit is easily accessible via a door in the transom which is also equipped with deep lockers. The wheel steering position has a full console, to which a large cockpit table with hinged flaps and icebox is joined. The Oceanis 461 is available in 4 cherrywood (teak as an option) accommodation layouts, arranged around the saloon. (Yolo is the 3 Stateroom, 2-Head Layout with Nav Station.)

There are 7 opening deck hatches and 12 opening portholes. The galley has numerous baskets and lockers, a fridge - freezer in two compartments, and large independent head compartments (up to three depending on the layout selected).

Engine & Mechanical

Whether you are cruising or daysailing,you will appreciate that this 2000 Beneteau 461 Oceanis has the upgraded 75hp Yanmar 4JH3-TE Diesel Engine (instead of the standard 50hp), and a 3-Bladed Feathering MaxProp; which increases the thrust and control in Reverse.

Also, an extra 25 gal. aluminum fuel tank was added under the forward Master SR berth, and an extra 25 gal. polyethylene fuel tank was added near the transom below the cockpit aft lazarette, giving a total of 103 gal. capacity, including the standard 53 gal. fuel tank under the aft port berth.
