EXTERIOR:

 

Beautifully maintained, this classic Hinckley 36 jet boat glides through the water and docks with incredible ease with the help of her bow thruster. 

'Avalon' shines with her classic flag blue topsides, bright white boot stripe and red bottom. Her brightwork has been annually maintained. Her Hinckley "wood package" includes: the full dash and interior of the pilothouse, a bow burgee pennant staff, a stern mounted ensign staff, teak toe rails, teak eyebrow rail and handrails on the cabin top, teak treads on her swim platform and on her stainless steel 3-step boarding ladder. 

Starting at her swim platform, that was refinished entirely during the 2019/2020 off season and hoping aboard and across her full beam aft bench seat, you come into a cockpit that was crafted for onboard entertaining and enjoyment. On top of her engine cover is a thick, central lounge seat and table perfect for refreshments. Moving forward towards the helm deck, the co-pilot seat is dual facing and ideal for conversing with guests and a second set of eyes on the horizon. 

 

INTERIOR:

 

'Avalon' has been enjoyed seasonally in New England with her current owner and always stored inside a heated building. This level of professional attention really shines with her interior. Her canvas cushions were produced locally in Maine and are a neutral shade of taupe. Overhead on the helm deck are two opening hatches and a white, perforated headliner with flush mounted lighting. Her sliding side windows have interior privacy/ sun curtains. 'Avalon' is outfitted with a variety of canvas covers: a full mooring cover and the three piece aft drop curtains. Her nonskid decking is cool on the feet and in fantastic condition. 

Below deck is accessed via a brightly varnished teak door and bi-folding hatch top, which is often stored in the hanging locker below for ease of access. Starting down her companionway, there is storage beneath her teak step, where current flares, a small medical kit and other emergency supplies are stored for ease of access. The galley is to port with a deep refrigerator, two burner stove, stainless steel sink with pressure hot and cold water and ample drawer and locker storage. Above the galley locker storage is the head unit to her onboard sound system. This powers her Bose speakers on deck and provides an incredible listening experience.  

Forward is her traditional V-berth with upholstered insert. These cushions are done in a classic deep blue Sunbrella fabric. There are two fans forwards as well as a flat screen TV and DVD player within the forward cabinet. Below her V-berth cushions there is additional storage that houses spare parts, extra PFD'S and other boating accessories. To starboard there is a full hanging locker. There are four operating ports and an overhead hatch below that offer great natural ventilation. 

Her head features a vacu-flush head, a sink faucet and hand-held shower head fixture, automatic drain, opening port and ample storage space. There's a hinged, drop down panel for ease of access and serviceability to the backside of your helm electronics.  

ELECTRONICS and HELM:

What distinguishes 'Avalon' from other classic Hinckley 36 on the market are her upgraded electronics. New in 2019, she has been outfitted with a fresh Raymarine touch screen! Her varnished teak dash and upper pilothouse have been meticulously maintained. As has her Hinckley JetStick steering system.  She's outfitted with a Ritchie compass, a speed, temperature and depth sensor, two (brand new in 2020 4-D 12 volt batteries and a 30 amp battery charger.
