The Ferretti 62 is a true cross between an Elegant sport yacht and a performance luxury yacht.  She has a sporty and vibrant appearance that is still capable of offering a level of comfort usually found on larger boats.  The hull design of this incredible yacht produces unbelievable levels of performance combining the handling characteristics of a sport yacht with the luxury saloon comfort and accommodations, interior design and living standards of a much larger yacht in her class. Moreover, due to its low superstructure line the craft's seaworthiness is a perfect combination of high speed performance and stability. Her low profile and aggressive look of the 62 is further highlighted by a side window design that allows for a light interior and distinctive and elegant shape. Most discriminating and knowledgeable captains and their owners would agree the 62 Ferretti does indeed stand out from the rest of yachts in this size class.  This particular vessel is the 62 Ferretti Aniversary issue.  She was remodeled and refitted in 2010 in the Juan Galvez shipyard in  Fort Laudardale.

This yacht has a three cabin layout with a queen berth master and two twin cabins plus crew quarters. Sleeps eight owners and guests in comfort. A galley down makes for a large saloon entertaining area. She has all the large fine yacht qualities you would expect such as climate control heat and air conditioning. Four Samsung Televisions provide entertainment. The cabins - placed at different levels - possess higher than average headroom, and the bathrooms are extremely spacious thanks to the exclusive round shower unit that allows two people to move comfortably in the bathroom. On board water for exotic destination cruising is provided by one desalination machine Horizon at  550 gallons per day.  A complete package of full instrumentation at both the upper and lower stations including radar, chartplotter, autopilot as well as joystick control make running her easy and efficient.  “ALAYA I” also includes a large swim platform, an inflatable tender and a passerelle crane and boarding ramp.  Her bridge includes a complete enclosure for foul weather running where visibility is desired and the Captains comfort is maintained.

“ALAYA I”  is powered by twin MTU Mercedes Benz diesels series 183 each one with  1.000 h.p.  For ships power she includes Kohler 18 KVA.
