Designed by Carl Schumacher, this is the classic version of the AE 38’ that offers full standing headroom below.  The classic AE 38’ combines traditional grace above the waterline with a fast, modern underbody and a performance-minded double-spreader rig to enhance sailing performance.   You can sail fast and look good.  The self-tacking carbon Hoyt jib boom and electric halyard/jib trim winch make for easy daysailing, the Herreshoff-styled cruising interior with full standing headroom offers comfortable, fast cruising in one of the prettiest boats on the water.
