Interior
The standard Hinckley 36' Picnic Boat offers elegant accommodations for two in a full satin-varnished cherry interior with a varnished teak and holly sole. Natural light and ventilation are provided for via 4 fixed ports and one large overhead hatch with screen. On damp mornings or as other occasions suggest, the interior is fitted with an Accupoint diesel cabin heater with outlets in the Pilothouse, main cabin and head.
Starting forward is the 6'-6" V-berth with filler (filler piece and cushion were added 2013). Below the berth there is storage accessed via drop face lockers and some "bin type" storage accessed by removing the cushions. Above the berth, the hull is lined with varnished cherry ceilings or battens and then a full length storage shelf with fiddle. Just aft and to starboard is a hanging locker which is cedar lined.
Aft and to starboard is the enclosed Head featuring a good sized vanity with varnished cherry top with undermount porcelain sink and polished stainless Grohe fixture with H&C pressure water. The W.C. is a Vacu-flush unit using just under a quart of fresh water per flush plumbed to the holding tank. There is storage in one drawer and in cherry faced lockers outboard of the vanity. The shower is an "ensuite" arrangement using the telephone style Grohe sink fixture, drainage is to a separate drain box with pump.
Opposite to port is the Galley featuring Antique White Formica countertop with under mount polished stainless steel sink with Grohe H&C pressure water. Good storage in several lockers and drawers. Chilled food stuffs are handled in a top loading box fitted with an Adler Barbour 12 volt refrigeration unit with small freezer or ice cube compartment. Cooking is from a Force 10 2 burner propane stove.
The interior (as has the rest of this 36' Hinckley Picnic Boat) has been superbly maintained.

AdditionalThis 36' Hinckley Picnic Boat is owned by members of the Hinckley family and has received careful ongoing care as evidenced by her fresh 2015 Awlgrip, all new helm deck & cockpit cushions and many other upgrades. Under current ownership she has been kept in inside heated storage. She has always been a New England boat, has very low hours and should be seriously considered by anyone looking for a truly handsome "picnic" style boat with overnight/weekending accommodations.
Note the owners (members of the Hinckley family) prefer the standard jet controls and so this 36' Hinckley Picnic Boat, still easily maneuvered, is not equipped with the jet stick. As the listing broker, I was given literally just 5 minutes of training in handling the boat and could easily dock and undock her. While "the market" seems to prefer having the jet stick it is an added and somewhat complicated device for which there is no real need given a nominal amount of boat handling training and a bit of practice. I came away from the experience thinking why would anyone add a jet stick when it is absolutely not needed?
