Overall Layout
Starting at the bow, the integral bowsprit gives an extended base to the sailplan to added sail area and provides for optimum sheeting angles for closed wind performance. Included at the bow are two anchors, a Maxwell windlass, deck up and down foot controls, Harken roller furlings for both the Genoa and Staysail. The mainsail is equipped with a dual, single line reefing system. All primary sail control lines lead aft, allowing routine sail trim and setting/reefing activity from the cockpit. Included are self tailing winches, color coded lines, rope clutches, traveler control lines and coaming line stowage bins making sailing easier and more pleasant.
The well laid out deck offers wide side walkways, raised bulwarks forward, full length continuous cabin top handrails, stainless grab rails, double lifelines and diamond pattern slip resistant deck surfaces.
The cockpit has a full canvas enclosure with screens, has full length contoured seats with cushions and a custom raised helm seat which provides for excellent visibility while underway. Cockpit convenience features include a built in insulated cooler, two large seat lockers, a handheld personal shower that reaches the stern platform, two stern rail seats and a pedestal mounted folding table. A Panda 4.0KW generator in an enclosed soundproof case mounted in the starboard lazarette.
