Sundog is a rare 1996 Seawind 1000 XL 37' performance cat with the highly desirable owners' version layout.

Recent $15,000. reduction makes this Seawind aggressively priced at only $119,900.

Originally built as a standard 1000 she had two custom transom's added which improves performance dramatically with longer waterline, and less squatting than her 33' brethren.

Seawinds are fast well built Australian catamarans.

Sundog has solar power, a 20 GPH watermaker , a full compliment of electronics including GPS, AIS, VHF and Autopilot, an open bridgedeck with soft top canvas that gives great shade and protection and excellent ventilation.

'Sundog', has been extended to 37', and is one of Australias most popular sailing catamarans.

She represents fantastic value for a boat capable of sleeping 8 adults and entertaining many more.

She is designed to cope with the rugged and variable conditions of Australias coastline and is widely considered a great ocean going yacht due to design features such as flared hulls for additional buoyancy, double point reefed mainsail to easily de-power, and foam core construction for additional strength, just to name a few."

The open layout and the appeal of remaining flat will suit the novice sailor and the live-aboard nature of the catamaran, make this a boat for exploring the coastline and inlets in comfort.

Sundog' is an excellent live aboard catamaran for the tropics with tons of ventilation and an excellent entertainment platform! For the daytime party, a large open foredeck with bench seating and two trampolines allow for great relaxation and unique views under sail. When you need to cool down, a drop down swim stair allows easy access to the crystal clear waters of the Bahamas, the San Blas Islands of Panama, or the Australian Gold Coast. The large bimini and vinyl forward enclosure provides plenty of protection from the tropical sun, but if you want some shade in the water grab a pool noodle and spend some time hiding between the hulls under the bridgedeck. If you feel like inviting half the anchorage over for sundowners, rum punch and chilled beers are enjoyed with plenty of seating to view the green flash.

She's in Cortez, Florida now.  Call to make an appointment to see this exceptional catamaran.
