Accommodations & Layout
Avalon has the semi-custom cherry interior for which Valiant is so well known. Her center entry design gives her a great layout with a comfortable living/entertaining area. Forward is a large private stateroom with a centerline queen berth. There are enclosed storage lockers to port and starboard of the berth and additional storage under the berth. Next aft and to port is a L-shaped dinette and a settee to starboard. A high-low table with fold-out leaves is mounted on the center line. Aft of the dinette is a U-shaped galley that has double stainless steel sinks, a four-burner propane stove/oven/broiler, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. Across from the galley is the nav station with the electronics and built-in electric panels. Aft to port is a second private stateroom with a queen size berth and storage lockers. To starboard is the large head with a separate shower stall.

Avalon has been thoughtfully and expertly designed by the best in the industry, she is truly an offshore luxury yacht with efficient sailing characteristics, providing for speed, comfort and safety at sea.
Avalon looks exactly like a yacht is supposed to look and is constructed exactly as a yacht should be: the finest of her kind!
Avalon is the perfect example of a classic Perry offshore cutter design and is one of the rare, newest models and most beautiful Valiant 42s to come on the market. Introduced in 1992, the Valiant 42 is the evolutionary successor to the legendary Valiant 40. Featuring the classic, sea kindly Robert Perry design tumblehome double-ended hull form, bulwarks, rubrail dorades, opening ports, oversized rod rigging and superb quality construction, the Valiant 42 is built to world class standards. Performance, safety and comfort have become synonymous with Valiant and in no small way, are responsible for its success. Sail Magazine selected the Valiant 40 as the Offshore Cruiser of the Decade. The Valiant 42 is a modern classic and Avalon is one of the most customized and extensively equipped Valiants ever built! Her extensive equipment inventory includes reverse cycle air conditioning and heat throughout the living spaces, generator, water maker and much, much more. She has 12 stainless steel opening ports, all with screens and custom-designed window covering in the interior and six deck hatches, all with fitted screens. The topsides are white AwlGrip with deep, rich Hunter Green whale and boot stripes.
