Accommodations
As spacious as you will find in a traditional 32' boat the Island Packet 32 offers a full varnished teak interior with varnished teak and holly sole. At the foot of the companionway the sole is a non-skid fiberglass to offer sure footing when coming below with wet footware. Superb natural light and ventilation with 11 stainless steel ports with screens and 5 deck hatches also with screens as well as two dorades. Reading lamps throughout as well as dome style lamps. A reverse cycle A/C unit can provide cooling or heat when dockside.
Starting forward is the forward cabin with 6'-6" V-berth with filler with drawers under for storage, shelves above and a generous cedar lined hanging locker aft of the stbd V. There is also some bin type storage below the V-berth. There is private access to the head from the forward cabin.
Aft and to port is the head with manual W.C. plumbed via Y valve to the holding tank, vanity with stainless steel sink with H&C pressure water, ensuite shower with separate sump and good storage. Opposite the head is a second hanging locker.
Continuing aft is the main cabin featuring straight settees P&S. Both settees are 6'6" in length and good width for sleeping; the port settee pulls out to form a double berth. Below the settees is bin type storage, storage behind the seat backs and in teak faced lockers and shelves with fiddles above. A generous teak dining table stows agains the fwd bulkhead when not in use and hides teak shelving unit.
The galley is to starboard with a U-shaped space. Abundant counter space and storage space, double ss sink with hot and cold pressure water and manual fresh water, large ice box fitted with Adler Barber refrigeration and a two burner gimballed propane stove with oven.
Opposite the galley is the forward facing nav. station along with the ship's electrical distribution panels, aft of which is a true double quarter berth with bin type stowage below as well as a chart drawer, a storage shelf above, and two drop face lockers and a small bureau. In the nav. station and quarter berth area additional privacy may be offered via the curtain which can close off the entire area.

Hull & DeckSolid fiberglass hull with vinylester resin in the exterior laminates finished with an Ivory ISO/NPG gelcoat with gold cove stripe and blue boot. The bottom is coated with Island Packet's PolyClad gelcoat system. The decks are partially cored fiberglass with closed cell foam coring. Exterior finish is Ivory with contrasting Tan non-skid. All exterior woodwork is finished in Cetol and is in exc. condition. Generous 7 1/2 foot cockpit with wide side decks for safe transit fore and aft.
