This Dawson 38 Express has been well taken care of by her current owner with freshly re-built Detroit 6-71's! From her large cockpit with fighting chair, cleaning station and huge cooler to her well laid out helm station this boat is built to fish. Hydraulic lifts provide excellent access to her engine room and a 5K gen-set keeps things cool down below. The helm station is centerline providing excellent visibility with two additional chairs on either side of the captains chair. One step down aft of the helm you will find a large central deck with vast storage under seating on both port and starboard. The helm area is covered by a hardtop with full enclosure for year-round use. Entering the companionway the accommodations include a galley immediately to port with 2 burner electric stove, large refrigerator/freezer and stainless steel double sink. To starboard you will find a large "U-shaped" settee with entertainment center on the aft bulkhead. A large head is forward of the galley on the port side and includes a separate shower. The owner's cabin is forward and provides good space with excellent storage and a cedar lined hanging locker.
