$10,000 Price ReductionOffers EncouragedCelestia, formerly Camelot, was purchased by her previous owners in 2000 who cruised the Caribbean with their children. Upon returning in 2002 with the intention of extended blue water cruising no expense was spared to refit her. At the completion of the extensive refit the family's plans changed, and she was placed on the market. The current owner, an engineer, purchased her in 2015. He has maintained Celestia with a further investment of tens of thousands of dollars with a strong intent of minimizing the deferred maintenance increasing the probability of a successful Sea Trial/Survey..

See a Timeline of Her Refit History Below
Differing from the Frers Hylas hulls which have flatter bottoms and deep fin keels the Hylas 47 hull designed by Sparkman & Stephens features a carefully crafted under body with a long fin keel, sleek stern, and high chin bow. Her low profile cabin trunk make her aesthetically pleasing. Strong and well built by Queen Long she has nine fore and aft stringers, twelve transverse floor timbers for strength, and a one piece stainless I-beam with four floors providing a strong platform for the mast step. The hull shape and keel-rudder configuration make her surprisingly stiff and fast. She is well balanced in a variety of sea states. The motion at sea is pleasant and assuring in heavy weather. Celestia is by all rights a well maintained example of a proven classic offshore machine. Some points of interest that make her worth your consideration are:
