CONSTRUCTION
Hull: GRP hull with fiberglass encapsulated longitudinal and transverse stringers built to Lloyds approved design specifications. Bulkheads are partial ply, transverse and bonded to hull skin at stress points and compartment intersections. Hull color is cream with a tan colored boot top stripe. Deck: is constructed of molded GRP balsa core with deck traffic areas sheathed in teak with sufficient drainage for inclement weather. There is an extruded aluminum toe railing surrounding the deck with teak and SS lower rub strips. Deck surrounds by a lifeline system consisting of double course SS bow and stern railings with double SS life lines with gates port and starboard and at stern. Three water tight bulkheads with water tight doors. Keel: Moderate draft fin design, molded integral with hull and lead encapsulated. Fully protected skeg-hung rudder. A leather wrapped SS destroyer wheel incorporates a chain driven system with a drop on emergency tiller.
Accommodations: Forward Cabin: A double berth to starboard with drop storage and drawer storage below. Also starboard is a vanity with a hanging locker outboard and drawer storage below. To port is a dressing bench with drop storage below and louvered shelf storage above. Port and starboard both have open bin shelf lockers. Centerline overhead is an aluminum escape hatch. Next aft is a passageway with privacy door aft and vent hatch above. Guest Quarters: Next aft to starboard are guest quarters with upper and lower single berths with drop bin storage below lower berth and open bin storage outboard. Inboard forward is a louvered door hanging locker with a washer/dryer below. Aft is a vanity with drawer storage. Two ventilating hatches are overhead. Forward Head: Athwartship of this cabin is the forward head featuring an electric flow through toilet, a hot and cold water faucet ceramic lavatory, and a separate curtained shower stall with telephone type shower head with controls. An overhead vent hatch is located inside shower stall. Salon: Next aft and one step up from guest quarters is the salon. A fiddled counter with large spirit/glass storage unit below stands to port and forward. Aft is a straight settee with forward foot well and drop storage below. Open bin and louvered storage is outboard where inboard has a pedestal mounted single high/low table. A large horse shoe shaped dinette/settee is to port. Top loading freezer is located under salon seating. Outboard is open bin and louvered door storage and inboard is a large dining table with drawer storage. Navigation Station: A navigator’s station with chart table sits to port and aft in the salon. A pedestal mounted chair and drawer storage is located below a lighted chart table. Galley: To starboard and aft two steps from the salon is the L shaped galley in passage way to an aft cabin. Double SS galley sinks with a gooseneck faucet and filtered potable water spigot. A two burner stove with oven and griddle gimbaled Taylor LPG cook stove with a SS safety bar. LPG bottle is in dedicated compartment in the aft deck with regulator and shut off valve. (All propane lines have been recently rerun with new solenoid shut off valve in galley) Top loading freezer/refrigerator boxes with engine driven or shore power driven compressors are aft in the galley with a countertop Panasonic microwave oven above. Ample storage for food and cutlery is offered in door, drawer, bin and slide stowage. Crew Quarters: Located to port in step down passageway from galley are crew upper and lower berths with foot wells, drop storage below and hanging locker inboard. The double door hanging locker has drawer storage below. Master Cabin: A water tight door in a water tight bulkhead separate the master cabin and galley.Next aft and central is the master’s berth with drop and drawer storage below. To port is a curved dressing seat with bin and slide storage outboard. A vanity sits inboard with an open bin. A large escape hatch is positioned overhead. Master Head: An en-suite head with similar features, but different footprint than forward head, offers fore and aft entry doors. Either head can be used for hanging wet gear in wash basin and lockers. Interior Features: Vertical wall surfaces are teak veneer with solid trim. Ceiling’s are vinyl sheathed panels with teak trim pieces between. Cabin soles are teak veneer with adequate drops for bilge inspection and maintenance of bilge equipment. Counter tops are sheathed in plastic laminate and wood veneer. Interior Lighting: Ample interior lighting supplied by 12V DC overhead and wall fixtures and natural light from portlights, overhead hatches, and companionway. Interior Ventilation: Overhead hatches and vents, companionways and forced 12V DC air systems provide air circulation to entire interior of yacht. Entertainment System: Alpine CDE-113 BT AM/FM/CD with-I pod plug in and Bluetooth, marine stereo speakers located in aft cabin, salon and cockpit.
Deck Equipment: Anchors: (1) 75 lb. CQR anchor with ½” welded link chain pendant, (1) 45 lb. CQR anchor, (1) 100 lb. Luke Kedge storm anchor, (1) 60 lb. yachtsman anchor; all with adequate rodes. Windlass: Vertical heavy-duty electric Francis Marine windlass with double SS anchor chute. Hatches: Lewmar alloy framed deck hatches, Gebo alloy framed portlights, Lewmar hull ports. Winches: All Lewmar double speed, self tailing. Cabin: (1) #43 with two rope clutches, (1) # 52 with three rope clutches, Deck Winches: (2) # 43, (2) # 55, (2) # 52, (2) # 16, Mast Mounted: (1) # 52, (1) # 43, (2) Anderson line handlers for reaching poles. Davits: Whitall dinghy davits with tackle. Ladder: Tubular SS transom attached re-boarding/swim ladder with transom shower fixture. Deck Equipment / General: Magma SS rail mounted propane fired BBQ grill, teak pedestal mounted cockpit table, teak pedestal mounted drink holder. Canvas: (8) Tan canvas open cell cockpit cushions, (1) white vinyl isinglass companionway spray dodger, (1) white vinyl cockpit Bimini top.

Hydraulic boom vang, Barborosa spinnaker poles on mast track, cleats, fairleads and rollers for anchoring of mooring yacht. Mast, boom and spreaders are of extruded aluminum. Mast is stepped through coach house top atop ballast fill on patent step over GRP bridge member. All standing rigging with exception of fore and back stay have chrome bronze and SS open barrel turnbuckles with yoke toggles. Standing rigging is 1 x 19 with Norseman mechanical fittings. Machinery: Engine: Nanni model 5.250 TDI 83.9 HP, five cylinder mechanical aspirated fresh water after cooled diesel engine propulsion system mounted on GRP longitudinals with flexible isolation mounts. A Twin Disc Techno Drive model 93 AL 2:1 ratio gear box to 1 ½” SS drive shaft with packless seal. A Vetus plastic silencer accumulator exhaust system exits exhaust at stern. Control are Morse mechanical single lever / cable type located at pedestal helm station as instrument cluster is located at starboard forward cockpit consisting of tachometer, oil pressure, engine temperature, charge and heat rate, battery voltage and low oil alarms. Engine hours recorded on December 2012 survey at 7301 hrs. Generator: Northern Lights model TF218B 3 cylinder fresh water cooled marinized engine with a 5 KW output with remote starting panel located at main switch panel. Instrumentation located at unit consisting of oil pressure, engine temperature, and charge rate. A Vetus wet exhaust silencer and accumulator system with gooseneck water block exiting stern. In line sea strainer and shut off vale equipped. Hours reported on December 2012 survey were 7301 with rebuild at 3263 hours.
Tankage: Diesel fuel capacity 263 total U.S. gallons in two GRP tanks with pneumatic gauging. Engine mounted spin on/off fuel filters with 2 500 FG series Racor fuel filters for main engine and generator, 500 FG for fuel polishing. Potable Water: Water capacity of 290 U.S. gallons in GRP tank and accumulation tank with pneumatic and electric gauging. 12 gallons U.S. electric hot water heater with pressure relief valve, 240V AC from engine’s heat exchanger and immersion heater system.
Electrics: AC Power System: Dual 30 amp 125 volt AC electrical feed inputs and one 220 European input. AC rotary source selector switch for Off / Gen / Shore / Transformer. Input power is transformed from 120 to 220 or 220 to 120 as needed. Multiple strategically located outlets located throughout yacht. 220V AC panel board with 6 lighted push to reset breakers with double pole 30 amp main breaker. Main breaker for lower starboard inlet double pole with thee branch breaker and upper starboard inlet has a double pole breaker to transformer. There is a 3.8 KVA isolation power transformer present. Circuit load monitors both Volts In and Amp Draw. DC Power System: DC panel has 36 push button breakers on board.Power supplied by lead acid and gel battery powered 12V DC system. Six batteries consisting of (1) 24 series flooded for gen set located in steering compartment, (2) 8G31 DT gel’s located below port salon spirit locker for freezer, (3) 4D gel’s located centerline salon bilge and (1) 8G31 DT gel for engine start located inboard galley step. Main battery rotary switches located below aft salon settee for house, engine start, gen start and freezer. Battery Management System: Onboard batteries are charged by means of the 140 amp alternator on main engine or from the Heart HF12 2000 SU 75 amp Inverter/Charger on board for shore side charging. The panel board contains over current protection utilizing circuit breakers located above the navigation station. Lighting: Bow and stern navigation lights, steaming / deck floodlight, tri-white anchor/ navigation light at masthead.
Navigation and Communication: Compass: Plastimo pedestal mounted steering compass at helm station, Navigation Station: (1) B & G H 1000 multi-function display, (2) Garmin chartplotters, GPSMAP 536 chartplotter & Garmin Echo Map 50, (1) Standard Horizon GX1150 Eclipse 25w VHF (1) Raytheon RL70 radar / chart / multi-function display. Cockpit: (1) Raymarine R170 radar, (2) B & G, H 1000 multi-function displays, (1) B & G, API, (1) Raymarine ST60 depth meter. See Me passive radar detection system.
Appliances: Nova 1000 Eumenia washer/dryer, Sea Ray Sea Recovery 30 GPH water maker. Panasonic microwave oven, auxiliary top loading compressor driven refrigerator/freezer.
Safety: PFD’s: (1) Type IV horse shoe device mounted on starboard stern rail with water light, (6) Type 1 flotation devices with reflective tape and water lights,, (6) inflatable vests with strobes, (2) child type 1 floatation devices. Life Raft: 2014 Revere Offshore Commander 8 person, Ditch bag with Par hand held water maker and Megellan GPS. Signaling Devices: Air horn with canister, Mast mounted Firdell Blipper radar reflector, Mast mounted tri-color light, navigational lights. Pyrotechnics: (4) Hand held flares, Pains Wessex para rocket. Locating Device: ACR Sat 3 EPIRB, battery operated in canister with hydrostatic release. Deck flood light.
