Krogen Manatee 36
"Once you see the Manatee you will recognize it thereafter. It's the one that looks like a spunky, off duty tugboat just aching for a cruise. Salty. Agile. At ease with the sea. The Manatee is a .... breed of coastal cruiser that cuts through pretense and concentrates on performance and comfort.
Manatee was designed and constructed, for seafarers who prefer an able, fine-honed, friendly craft to a frivolous speedster.
A boat that can stretch the horizons and discover new ports. With 23,000 lbs. displacement and only a 3'2" draft, she can explore rivers, bays and sounds. With a range of 1,100 miles, she can embark from the Bahamas, circle the Great Lakes, crisscross the Chesapeake or meander Puget Sound and the San Francisco Delta area.
Under way or anchor down, this is a cruiser you can call "home." With pride " ~ Kady Krogen Manufacturers Brochure
Accommodations "The Manatee has the spacious livability usually found only in much larger crafts. Thoughtful, innovative design handsomely provides convenience with comfort, complete with picture window view when seated in the salon.
The Manatee has considerate natural ventilation to enjoy the sea breezes, she is generous with storage, closet, cabinet and sleeping space. She is congenial with the warmth of timeless teak. She is a fine home that takes to the sea." ~ Kady Krogen Manufacturers Brochure

Construction "The Manatee Hull and Cabin Sides are of fiberglass sandwich construction with closed-cell PVC foam core; heavy hand layup using mat and roving. This construction is one of the most enduring and safest afloat. (Closed-cell PVC foam core does not deteriorate or absorb water.) The composite structure serves both as buoyancy and shock, sound and temperature insulator. It rides quiet, increases impact strength and eliminates condensation build-up inside the hull." ~ Kady Krogen Manatee Manufacturer's Brochure
Engine Room "Accessible is a keyword in every Krogen craft. The Engine hatch opens wide for entry below deck. Plenty of room and working space for fine tuning or routine maintenance." ~ Kady Krogen Manufacturers Brochure
