Nausikaa is a 1988 Pearson 31-2 Sloop with accommodations for a crew of 6. Her spacious interior includes a double Quarterberth aft of the Nav Table with top-loading fridge and freezer below to starboard, an L-shaped Dinette that sleeps one, opposite a long settee that sleeps one, and a private V-Berth with ensuite access to the large Head with toilet, vanity, sink, shower, and ample storage that is also accessible via a second door from the Salon. The well-appointed Galley is aft to port, next to the removable companionway stairs, and the varnished teak engine cover provides access to the diesel engine from 3 sides. Custom Sunbrella interior window shades provide privacy and sun-protection for every window and opening port.
Pearson's quality is evident throughout this boat with varnished teak cabinetry, teak & holley sole, teak bases & trim on each overhead light fixture, keel-stepped mast, 7 opening Port windows and two opening deck hatches with Sunbrella exterior sun covers provide plenty of light and ventilation. The top-loading refrigerator is under the nav table and is equipped with an Adler-Barbour 12V ColdMachine refrigeration system. Excellent storage is available behind and above the settee cushions, on shelves all around the Salon, Quarterberth, and V-Berth, as well as drawers aft of the Nav Table,, forward of the Port Salon Settee, and under the filler section of the V-Berth.
Plan on re-covering the cushions in the Salon and Quarterberth and touching up a few areas of the interior varnished teak cabinetry, and you will find this 1988 Pearson 31-2 will appreciate in value and you will get these investments back plus more.
