Accommodations
Looking forward, there is a double V-berth with outboard storage shelves and storage under. Directly aft to starboard, there is an enclosed head with: marine toilet, holding tank, Y-valve, vanity, washbasin, hand shower and hot/cold pressure water. To port there is a large hanging locker with storage shelf. In the main salon to starboard, there is a long 6'8" settee with a bulkhead-hinged fold-down table, and outboard storage shelf. To port, there is a 5' settee with outboard storage shelf. Directly aft to starboard of the companionway, there is a 6'6" double quarter berth with convertible chart table. To port of the companionway is a full galley. The Ericson 28 has teak appointments, teak sheathing in the salon and a teak & holly sole. There is 6'1" headroom with two (2) forward opening ports and two (2) opening overhead hatches.
Galley
L-shaped counter top with: Two (2) burner recessed alcohol stove and chopping block cover; five (5) cubic foot insulated icebox with Adler-Barbour refrigeration; deep SS sink with hot/cold pressure water; and outboard storage lockers.

Binnacle mounted helm compass; VHF radio: Datamarine depth sounder; Datamarine knot meter; and Garmin 75 GPS. 12vDC: Three (3) marine batteries running power to a battery switch and master panel with breakers. 110vAC: Shore power with cord; 110v control panel, auto battery charger and cabin outlets.

Sloop with fractional, single spreader rig; aluminum spars with deck stepped mast; SS standing rigging; and rope running rigging with lines aft to the cockpit. Mid-boom mainsheet traveler on coach roof with cars; adjustable boom vang; split backstay with adjuster; and Harken roller furling. Mainsail with cover and jiffy-reefing; working jib; 130% genoa and Genneker w/sock.

Barient 21A two-speed genoa winches. Inboard genoa tracks with cars and whisker-pole. Seahood with dodger and cockpit awning. Anchor locker with SS bow roller, #22 Bruce and #13 Danforth anchors with chain and rode. Seven (7) and a half-foot Avon inflatable with oars and 2.5hp Cruise-n-Carry OB.

Comments
The Ericson 28 combines good quality construction with a fast Bruce King hull and powerful sail plan. She has a roomy teak interior, and would make an excellent offshore cruising boat for a small family. Seller is motivated. |
