Accommodations & Layout
Princess offers comfortable accommodation in two private staterooms forward and aft as well as berthing available in the main salon area. Her full teak interior is complemented by the hand-rubbed satin varnish finish work, accented by custom inlaid tile work in the galley area. The varnished teak and holly cabin sole is in beautiful condition as well. The interior upholstery is custom embossed leather. Numerous port lights, deck hatches and opening ports assure more than adequate good natural lighting and ventilation below.
Forward cabin: Features a double berth to starboard with a drop-down canvas single berth on the port side with a seat underneath. Sail storage is provided underneath the double berth and there is a hanging locker and shelving for additional storage. Forward of this cabin is the anchor locker with access through a hatch on deck. The anchor windlass is located inside the locker. There is a watertight bulkhead separating the anchor locker from the forward stateroom.
Office: Next aft on the starboard side is a custom designed office installed by Baltic with a large wrap-around desk, leather-covered swivel chair mounted on pedestal and excellent storage.
Forward head: Located to port, forward. A large hanging locker is positioned just forward of this head. There is a doorway separating the two forward cabins and the head compartment from the main salon. The spacious guest head features a VacuFlush toilet.
Main salon: Built with a nicely-radiused and large dinette to port with a large teak table that raises and lowers and converts into a large double berth. Generous storage lockers; shelves and drawers are located throughout. Opposite the dinette on the starboard side is the forward facing navigator's station. The walk-through galley is separated from the nav station by a bar locker. Aft of the nav station is the galley which extends into passageway that leads to the aft cabin. The companionway is located amidships at the aft end of the main salon. Access to the engine compartment can be accomplished from under the companionway, under the galley sinks or from the aft cabin.
Aft cabin: Accessed through the aft end of the galley, it features a large centerline double berth. Two settees port and starboard, a vanity forward and amidships, and several cedar- lined hanging lockers complete the exceptionally comfortable aft cabin. The large and well-appointed second head is accessed from the aft cabin and includes a VacuFlush head.
