38' C&C MK III '86 "Mascota"

The C&C 38 MK III is a sleek fast, well-engineered racer/cruiser that delivers competitive excitement along with comfortable cruising pleasure. She is fast, stable and responsive in all weather conditions and she is an absolute delight to sail with a short-handed crew of two!

Mascota stands head and shoulders above most vessels of this type as she has been recently upgraded and refurbished by her current knowledgeable  owner.

Some of the major upgrades include:

  1. Rebuilt mast – removed from vessel, all new shives, electronics and wiring, epoxy painted and re-stepped
  2. All new standing Navtec rod rigging, Harken roller furler and rebuilt Navtec hydraulic backstay
  3. New 130% genoa, new “Sunbrella” UV trim on both 130% and 100% headsails
  4. New rudder bearings/sleeves
  5. New pressurized water system, hot water heater and head
  6. New manual and electric bilge pumps with new hoses
  7. Propane system rebuilt with new tank, line and regulator
  8. Beautiful new teak and holly cabin sole
  9. New B&G Triton system electronics with 2-displays in cockpit and 1-in navigation station
